Twice now I've pulled out briskly onto a busy road and the car has spun out. When I say "briskly" I mean just that. A little bit of a hurry, but not putting the pedal to the floor. Both times road conditions were good. I have summer tires (performance pack) but it wasn't cold either day...
I had speakers replaced on Friday, but the factory wiring was used and the impedance is the same, so I rather doubt that is the source of the problem. It might have triggered a series of events that exposed the problem, though. With the better speakers (JL Audio) installed, I listened to a CD...
When I get an incoming VM, my phone and the H/U both want to handle it. If the phone gets answered, when I'm done, the H/U insists on asking me what I want to do with it. Kind of like a child that insists on participating even though the adults are done talking.
Does anyone else have this...
On the premium system, does anyone know where to look for the junction of the wires going to the mid and tweeter? From the diagrams others have provided, it's apparent that each pair shares a single lead coming from the amplifier then splits off. The question is, where behind the dash does...
I've looked but all I can find is vague ideas as to mounting depths, so I'm going to try a different approach.
What sets of three way components has anyone installed so far? We can get mounting depths from their spec sheets and post the deepest ones where anyone can find the data.
Edit:
So far...
Is there a vendor that has winter packages with affordable rims for winter already mounted with something like Blizzaks (sp?)? It seems that with so many Mustangs being delivered with tires that are pretty much worthless in the winter, this would be a natural.
Has anyone pulled a power seat to see if there is any way to make it sit lower? I'm not the tallest guy in the world (just under 6'2") but I keep wishing the seat was a little lower. Mostly when getting in and when losing sight of traffic lights in the roof line.
My wife has a 2016 Ecoboost Premium convertible. I just picked up a coupe with the performance pack. We were in her car and stopped so I could run into a store. My key was in my pocket. When I stepped away the horn beaped and a message flashed that the key had left the car. My key won't...
I'm planning on adding, in order,
1) Intercooler
2) High flow catted downpipe
3) Intake.
Someday, if I get the nerve to risk my warranty, I might get a tune.
I anticipate that these mods, even without a tune, will be beneficial.
The intercooler will stabilize the charge temps, which should...
