The rear diffuser on the GT350 is added weight that pulls down on the entire rear bumper. Need a way to have it braced back up to the body otherwise gravity will do what it always does.
Personally, I wouldn't do it. I think the better course of action would be to buy a daily beater with M/T and drive around for a few months, then go for it.
If I'm not mistaken I think altjx learned how to drive manual on his GT350, maybe he can chime in.
Not sure where you are getting your information but diluting the coolant with distilled water is never a bad thing, 50/50 mix is ideal but 25/75 (coolant/water) isn't a bad thing especially if you live in warmer climates such as I do (Florida).
I've never driven a 911 but this was exactly my thoughts on both vehicles despite the fact. Either way I plan on owning both vehicles one day as I believe they bring out the best of both worlds. My reasoning for going with the GT350 first was simply because I figure the 911 will be in better...
