Checked out another dealership yesterday, they had two 2016 Techs. One Mag w/ blue and the other Avalanche w/ black. Both had $24k ADMs :crazy:. I didn't even bother asking about a 2017 order and just walked out.

I tried looking for one as well, so I decided to ask the wizards in the photoshop thread to conjure one up for me. Until the Mustang configurator is updated for 2017 or someone takes a picture of one out in the wild, this will have to do. Hope it helps!

I would have liked to give this company my business since they're a small outfit in a small town, but I'll have to keep searching then. I don't believe they're trying to scam me, I think they're just unfamiliar with the process. I'll try other dealers and keep them in my back pocket.

So I visited the dealership after work. They don't have an allocation. I asked for a clarification from what he told me yesterday, and he said that they can try putting in my GT350 order (along with my financials) and see whether Ford will allow the order to go through. I have to reiterate that...

Yep, multiple members saying I shouldn't let the dealer run my credit. I agree. I'm already planning to stop by after work to get clarification on whether they have an actual allocation or not. Thanks guys! :thumbsup:

Chris, I appreciate the effort but I think that's a DIB with white stripes. I was asking for a lightning blue with white stripes and black pin stripe (since the order guide doesn't mention an option with just white).

Ah ok I didn't know that. So dealers have to actually buy in to the Shelby program in order to get an allocation. They can't just submit an order for a customer to get one. Like you said though, there might be the possibility of buying in mid-way through.

That's a good question, I didn't ask that but I'll do so the next time I talk to them.
