I change my mind - don't do it, ship it. Just drove mine from dealer 400 miles away and avoided major highways to make sure it won't get rocks or chips. Guess what? Not only I got a speeding ticket on my maiden voyage, but some asshole managed to back into my car in a parking spot for one car...
  8. Should I pull the trigger on 16 GT350 Track or wait for 17?

Not sure about the traction warranty void bit (citation needed), but that's the very reason why I sold my GT-R - just too much of a robot. Very easy to go stupid in it and it will forgive you, but you lose something in the process. That and lack of 6MT is what ultimately killed it for me. Ain't...
  9. Should I pull the trigger on 16 GT350 Track or wait for 17?

Old news, buddy. Tranny is covered under PTW and aftermarket has stepped up big time. You can get parts for them that are of much better grade than OEM, if it came to that. Even the 5K brake system can now be replaced with higher quality aftermarket for under $1500 - $2K. Yes, it ain't cheap...

Go on, don't leave us hanging...
  11. Should I pull the trigger on 16 GT350 Track or wait for 17?

Yada yada "supply/demand" ok - I get it. What I don't get is that no dealer will commit to even TAKE an order and guarantee the price. Stories of people having their ordered cars sold to higher bidders are quite rampant - your deposit guarantees nothing.
  12. Should I pull the trigger on 16 GT350 Track or wait for 17?

I'm out. The worst car shopping experience EVER. Pulled my deposit, cancelled the sale - my first foray into 'Stang territory and I'm ready for anything but this. F*ck this "got ya over the barrel bullshit". Never again will deal with Ford. Ever. Bye.

I plead the fifth? Yes. My detail guy had good laughs.

So, I'm not clear - did you pay ADM or not?
  15. Should I pull the trigger on 16 GT350 Track or wait for 17?

spoken like a :ford: dealer - while I agree it's a sweet mama, I find it hard to swallow that for only $5K or so more, I'm in a (ultra low mileage) GT-R territory.
  16. Cross Country Drive or Transport

I drove GT-R from Atlanta to Philly. Pro tip: don't do what I did - duck tape all over GT-R. :headbonk: Funniest sh!t ever. Look into temporary film, if you so decide http://www.mastershieldprotection.com/xport/ or ask dealer if they can have the car prepped with clear film - they often...

So, how did you like the rear looks of the GT-R? :mullet: I had a GT-R and while GT350 is a nice ride, let's be real here - I don't think "My little pony" can hang with "The Godjira" :tsk:
  18. Should I pull the trigger on 16 GT350 Track or wait for 17?

Hey, forum n00b here looking to pull the triger on my first Little Pony. 1st - does anyone know when 17s are going to be actually in showrooms? That will help with some of the questions below. I have 2 competing options: Red/white stripe with Tech or Blue/black stripe with Track. Blue is...
