Someone at the body shop got in the car with a screwdriver in their back pocket and holed the driver's side seat bolster. The bodyshop were really good about it but the seat cover is on back order.
Does anyone have a seat cover or complete backrest they want to sell for a 2016 right hand...
Hmmm, on days when I might think that what I do is worthless and that I make zero contribution to society, I comfort myself by reminding myself that there's a man in Germany who works on the production line at BMW fitting indicators.
Thanks Eclipsar, I would have loved to have tried a new V8 but Avis don't offer one, only the ecoboost. This alone made it an unfair comparison, although the ecoboost stokes along well enough as long as you give it som throttle to wake the turbo. Being a renter it was light on extras and had...
Hello Mark, after years of only ever having a manual (including my previous two Mustangs) nerve damage in my left leg means I can't work a clutch anymore.
I want to be totally clear that this post is absolutely not intended to offend anyone on this forum.
I currently have a 2016 GT Auto with lots of mods and I have just had a week in Florida with a 2018 Avis Ecoboost convertible auto. I hope these observations might help anyone considering...
My wife does mine while I stand outside and help by pointing out the bits she has missed. She is so excited at being able to help with car stuff that we rush inside and make passionate love. (Okay, maybe not the last bit)
These are such different cars! You sit higher in the Mustang and it is quite a heavy car with a lot more space inside. You will love the V8 and I would definitely go with the Magnaride. It is also a wider car that is more suited to Motorways and A roads. I'll bet you enjoy that test drive!
There is an amazing amount of testosterone fuelled bravado in this thread. One day my wife came off Mumsnet for a while so that she could take an interest in what I am interested in. Beware!
Mustang6G for everything you want to know about your car and Mumsnet for everything you want to know...
My middle Mustang was a 2008 Bullit, so I can say from experience that once the car is out properly in the States all the special Bullitt bits will be available as normal spares. Wheels, faux gas cap, sill plates, airbag, front grilles et all.
Looks like they use the ecoboost front wings on...
I started by trawling through all the previous posts but couldn't find the answer I am looking for, apologies if it's there and I missed it!
I have the Ford Racing (Borla) cat back exhaust system, Ford part no. M-5200-M8SB with the X pipe.
I want to swap the X out for an unsilenced H-Pipe...
It's the current engine, fitted with a dry sump so it can fit lower in the chassis.
The existing induction system is fed via a cold air intake from behind the front grille with a free flow filter
The exhaust headers are short with free flow cats, exit behind the front wheels and sound great...
