Yes the hood vent is directly above the filter on the gt350 CAI, however the amount of water that gets through is not an issue. I have run this CAI for going on 20k miles now and have not had one issue.

Have you checked Craigslist in your area? Here in Houston i can get stock exhaust for 50-100 dollars all day long.

Mine does the exact same thing, has done it since i got the car. Still does it after the car has been tuned, like yours it only does it occasionally. I wouldn't worry too much it seems pretty common.

Those are some expensive tires, summit has them for $275 each new. Seems like a pretty good deal here, do you know roughly how many passes you have on them?

I highly doubt he is spraying. While the outcome is not expected I have seen crazier things happen on the street. Some stock autos trap 112 that is in the territory of some tuned manual cars.

What gear did they make the run in? It seemed like it went through it pretty quick.

On the street the paddle shifters are fun and I love the sound of the of the rev matched down shifts. Unfortunately at the dragstrip the car is quicker in "D" making the runs less exciting. At the track I missed my previous 6spd car but still had fun running the same times as tuned 11-14 5.0's...

Any insight on why i lost 2 mph on the quickest run? I was running quicker and had more mph in the 1/8th but lost 2 mph in the quarter that seems odd t me.

That's the plan the DA was around 1500 last night. Next week a cool front is coming through and should drop the DA down around 200.
