As many saw on the thread previous, the blendmount is a great way to mount the V1. I have an extra one (might still be in the classified section).Go for it!
I'm searching for a part #, and none of my dealer contact here can access UK/RHD #s here.
I'm looking for the driver's seat bracket for the RECARO option (should be manual up/down/rear/front adjustable). This would be the right side/UK driver's bracket.
Thanks for any help! If we can order...
Just like in previous years, the recaros (while awesome) are a little low when transporting the vertically challenged. Option #1 is adding spacers, but having adjustment would be great.
Has anyone seen or attempted swapping in an adjustable base from a different trim level?
I'm going to tap off of some steering wheel controls for a new project. Anyone have the wiring diagram? I'm looking specifically for the 'm' button through the clock spring connector- steering column side. Thanks!
It's very tough to see in pictures, but can anyone with a 350 (or who has been inside one), confirm if the vents, trim, door handles etc are dull or chrome? In the GTs and ecos, all the interior trim is chrome. Any help?
Finding one to look at is proving to be difficult..
I've had no luck at the local yards here, but I need to find a junk yard or even a totaled private seller with a 15-16 stang. I'm looking for some interior parts for my continuing project and want to experiment on cheaper parts.
Any help?
Looking at some of the SEMA cars, some had non-tinted but definitely blacked out headlight/turn signal chrome.
Anyone attempted disassembly and painting?
In my search for some 350 specific parts, I need provide the very nice people at levittown a VIN to search... does anyone have an GT350R VIN they could PM me for parts cross-reference?
Like many folks searching for Gt350 and gt350r parts, has anyone had luck getting the expanded Ford parts breakdown (exploded view). I'm going to try to find some oddball interior parts and it would help tremendously.
So far so good- wrapping the chrome in 3m vinyl piece by piece- last on the list is the gauge pods and re-do the door handle (lifting slightly). Otherwise very happy. GT350 wheel as many know, is awesome. Harnesses are great and went in pretty smooth.
Enjoy!
If you're taking out interior panels, you're bound to break a blue clip or two. Other than the stealership, anyone have a good source for a bag of backup little blue clips?
Got this reply from Raxiom today; we can only hope it comes soon for us base stereo guys.
"Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. We are working closely with American muscle on the development of the Navigation system for the 2015-16 Mustangs. Currently we do not have a release date at this...
Before I go pulling panels, I'm going to try to remove the chrome door pull covers for color change.
Anyone had it apart yet? The door panel itself looks easy from the how-to articles, but haven't seen the chrome piece removed yet.
Thanks!
Have the base audio systemin the Saleen white, and need some better sound (don't we all...), but am debating about the levels to which I should go. I don't plan on any SPL records, just good all-around sound stage. I love the stock system in my Raptor (I assume it's similar to the shaker setup)...
I'm only 100 miles into ownership, and yet to get the windows darkened, but has anyone experienced extreme glare from the bottom trim on the steering wheel? I plan to disassemble and paint or plasti-dip if I get the balls to take apart the brand new wheel.
Thanks!
