  1. 6spd manual durability

Ford disagrees: https://www.cjponyparts.com/resources/s550-mustang-recall-and-tsb-info I suggest counting them.
  2. 6spd manual durability

I've been wanting a Cyclone 6-speed since they were available new, but have been sitting on the sidelines hoping that the transmission issue is resolved. I don't understand the blind loyalty to the Blue Oval, when they have acknowledged issues with the MT82 seven times via Special Service...
  3. V6 vs EcoBoost

If the engine is increased to 2.4L and a turbo is added, I think it wouldn't be under 3K lbs.
  4. V6 vs EcoBoost

    Suuure.
  5. V6 vs EcoBoost

GT86/BRZ, a great choice. RWD, 200 HP, sub-3K lbs and a Boxer engine.
  6. V6 vs EcoBoost

They're out there if you search... https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/756858125/overview/
  7. V6 vs EcoBoost

    Agreed. :piggybank:
  8. Stock GT Exhaust on V6 Mustang

Sorry, I was thinking 'cat-back' but included the cats in the inquiry. My point being that if everything behind the cats seems to be the same, how is swapping them an improvement?
  9. Stock GT Exhaust on V6 Mustang

I'm surely missing something, but in comparing the V6 vs GT part numbers of the catalytic converter to the exhaust tips, it seems they're identical. Included are the screenshots from the Ford parts site.
  10. Part Numbers FR3Z5230S vs FR3Z5230R

I found that the V6 muffler assembly of the manual is part number FR3Z5230S and the automatic is part number FR3Z5230R. What are the differences in the parts? Does the V6 manual vs automatic have the same or different exhausts? Thank you!
  11. 2015-17 Mustang V6 at the Track

Yeah, wider wheels/tires, brakes & suspension seem to be the general consensus. It's a shame there isn't a strut bar made for it.
  12. '18 Mustang Ecoboost PP vs '19 Camaro Turbo 1LE

Since posting the thread a while ago, I've learned on this forum & from reading auto magazine reviews, that Ford has stated PP1 & PP2 are not intended for track use, but for aggressive street use, while the 1LE is a track vehicle. It doesn't mean it's a superior platform, simply that it's...
  13. Who's running with RR16?

I stumbled onto Revolution Racing's R16 (RR16) wheels & they're sharp: http://www.revolutionracingwheels.com/revolution-racing/wheel/40682/revolution-racing-r16/ It seems they install with the Gorilla 73-7050 hub rings. Does someone have pictures of them on their vehicle? :)
  14. ecoboost or 3.7 engine

This is a more recent example of why Mustang premiums are high... http://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/national/article212733744.html It's affordable performance, available to the masses, including morons that shouldn't own it. In addition to lives being lost & affected...
  15. ecoboost or 3.7 engine

Sh*ts & Giggles... I'm curious, because of the limited factory options & aftermarket products for the final V6, stock for stock which would be more fun to drive... the SN95 GT, S197 V6 or S550 V6? :clap2:
  16. ecoboost or 3.7 engine

It's a noob question, but when searching online for a pre-owned V6, is there a way of determining if it has the 3.55? The idiots exiting cars & coffee don't help insurance rates. Yes, no car is worth stretching finances too thin. Many high performance vehicles have more power than one can...
  17. Strut tower brace V6

Did anyone ever manufacture a strut brace for the V6? Ford Racing Strut M-20201-M doesn't work. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22733 Steeda said they would manufacture it but did not. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24443
