Dw400 + 52/55 should be good for 700 whp right?

what’s a better/safe setup… the bap or the dw400? I’m more inclined for the dw400

I would like to see the correction factors on this dyno. Also notice how the torque and Hp doesn't cross at 5250? Not an accurate dyno pull. Been in this game a long time, I bet this car never shows the MPH of an 1100 hp car at the track.
Congrats to our customer Shawn and his Gen 3 10r80 mustang!

G3X, 95mm pulley, fore fuel system, Lund tuned.

Still on the factory 6rib rib belt drive!

Stock motor and stock 10r80 transmission

TQ and HP are scaled different which is why they dont cross at 5252.

Edit: Didnt mean to come off as a dick. Hadn't had my morning coffee. We good now :)

Like he said this dyno is scaled differently so they don’t cross like normal.

MPH also will vary on chassis setup and race weight and plenty of other factors. You already know this since you’ve been racing a while. A car like yours with 1100 whp will trap much higher because it’s a race car and it’s setup and optimized for drag racing and I’m guessing it’s fairly light for an s550. Shawn’s car is a 100% full weight premium packaged car that is street driven the majority of the time. I think his car will do really well if you take into account that it is not a race car and it’s full weight. I think It will trap around 155 on a good pass and decent air. His 60-130 times are a good indication of this as well.

Hp is Hp and MPH will dictate that way more than suspension mods. Suspension mods will dictated your ET. Your guess on my weight is incorrect as I weigh 3880lbs, AC and Power everything. Takes about 1000whp to get to 155-156 on a stockish weight car, as I have been there.

A well setup car will have a better ET and MPH. Obviously HP/weight being the biggest factors for MPH. If you don’t have a proper suspension and gearing setup and have to leave in 2nd gear your ET and MPH will suffer. Shawn’s car is still nearly 300lbs heavier than you. Your car is still fairly light considering it has a couple hundred pounds added to it from the blower, ice tank, cage, etc. There are way too many factors to judge MPH. Here in AZ a 156mph pass is moving mainly because the DA here sucks most of the year. I stand by the 155 trap for that power level in full weight 10r80 car 2nd gear leave.

This is probably just a general boosted mustang question, but on 1 colder NGK's what gap is everyone running? Im just using the 120mm pulley so not much boost.

I would talk to your tuner, but generally somewhere between .025-.030 seems to be the general area for mild boost set ups.

On a G2 or G3, running the 125mm pulley and 7psi, using 91,
would the Lu47 or Ford performance 55 injectors be the better choice ?
Are both a direct fit in my gen3 ?

Just get the 2020+ gt509 55lb injectors here plug and play and same length no spacers needed.

She's installed. Had my buddy helping me do the UPR catch can here in a moment. He's inspecting the motor lol

The car is down waiting for a new stock fuel pump assembly. We will be putting on a JMS BAP for now. In short, the DW400 had fuel pressure drops worse than the stock pump so after altering the first pump assembly hat we just bought a new one to drop in and go while returning to the stock pump for now. The DW pump sock was not causing issues. We think it was the pump itself and have been seeing this time to time with a few customers. Some have been fine. I'm just over messing with it so that is why we are doing a stock pump + BAP.

I may end up doing a fuel system or radium drop in assembly but who knows. I'll circle back to that.

I'm hoping to add a Zeitronix ZT2 kit with FP sensor and 3.5 bar boost sensor to collect some data while using the nGauge . Tuning was done through us at Lund with a RTD since this is a 21 and there's no LR nGauge allowance however, monitoring/logging/code readouts with the nGauge are still doable
