Last Friday night ended up into a fateful night for my baby when the stupid Pirellis lost traction on the ramp in temps of about 66F.
The rear end broke loose, I counter steered ended up in the grass but unfortunately there was sign post I couldn't avoid...Boom took it out like a hurricane. It flew up over the car and hit the windshield, punched a hole in the roof and a big hole in the right side quarter panel.
No Airbags deployed.... The hood was lock jammed and all I could see under was the Radiator damaged and pushed inside. Oil pressure was fine. Fans and AC seemed to be operating in that state.
Car went into limp mode immediately...Tach lit up red, Temps in H and I just limped it home slowly. It's been four days at body shop and today Insurance broke the news that she is a total loss....Damage estimate came to $21,000. She had only 16K miles....It was fun while it lasted but no more Mustangs for me....Good bye my love...R.I.P
