I will be able to pick up my license plates next week. This may be a stupid question, but...the car did not come with any kind of license plate mounting hardware for the rear. There is a bracket for the front plate, but nothing whatsoever for the rear. Am I supposed to just go out and buy...
Thanks for the info, guys. I guess my best option is a supercharger. I'll have to decide whether that's worth it for me.
For the moment, gonna take the cheap option and just take a road trip down to sea level. :D
I got my 2016 Mustang GT PP in December and am loving it. However, I live at 7,000 feet in Colorado. Depending on the temperature, the air density here is only 70% - 80% of sea level, and any naturally-aspirated engine produces only approximately 70% - 80% of it's peak rated power.
So, my...
Living at 7000 feet in Colorado, where an NA car will lose 25% of it's horsepower on a warm summer day, I say bring on the turbos! My GT makes barely any more power than the Ecoboost up here (though it does sound better!)
I am in Colorado. Have had 4 other vehicles here with Sirius and never had any problem with reception. The Mustang, on the other hand, frequently loses the signal. Not enough to be annoying, at least so far, but definitely way more than my other cars.
Audio quality with Sirius sucks anyway...
I love everything about my new Mustang. However, out of all the cars I have ever driven, it makes the most noise when driving on a dirty road that I have ever heard. Any sand or dirt on the road sounds like marbles hitting the bodywork. I feel like I can clearly hear the impact of each...
We get plenty of snow here in Colorado, but also plenty of warm sunny days. Usually the snow doesn't last more than a day or two at most before it melts and the roads are clear and dry again.
Sure, there is some sand and salt residue left on the roads all winter, but without any liquid to...
I ordered mine on October 19 and just took delivery December 14 (yesterday!)
Build date was 11/17. So, basically one month until production, and one month for shipping.
I am pretty sure it's just a glitch in the configurator. They don't have a separate image for the PP+premiertrim combination, just PP individually and premium trim individually. I have seen plenty of shots of PP cars online with premier trim that still have the gauges.
I don't mind the design of the UI too badly, it looks functional and visible. What is a little frustrating to me is that Ford is apparently using a single color scheme across all their models and interior colors, with no ability to customize it.
It is kind of silly that Ford gives me the...
That steering wheel is so horrible. It looks like an Oldsmobile.
The interior is certainly an improvement over the old one, but it is not as welcoming as the Mustang interior. Still a lot of generic plastic (like the start button!) I do like some of the details, but not the overall look...
