  1. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

Well considering the Mustang usually gets updated every 5 years, it doesn´t surprise me a 2020 new model at all. Ever since 94 - 99 was the launch of new model (new edge on same platform) 05 New Platform - 10 redesign (same platform) then again for 13 (minor changes). 15 New Platform - 20...
  2. One joyous year + new wheels (thanks to classifieds on this forum)

Nice touches! The tri bar pony badges look awesome, I have always loved them. Great change with the rims!
  3. Will I be happy?

If you have always had V8 Mustangs, I´d definitely go with a V8, doesn´t matter if its the base GT, it still has a V8. If you want to listen music just step on the gas and listen the V8 music!
  4. "A faster Horse" is on Netflix

I watched it twice, it really is a great documentary. I love the scenes where they race all the classics and previous generations and you get to listen to all the engines! Just one thing, on the movie the exhaust of the 2015 definitely sounds better than the final product. I wished they...
  5. Deep Impact Blue versus Kona

S550s would look killer in Grabber Blue! I had a Kona V6. Loved the color, its a chameleon color. It turns purple in direct sunlight and midnight blue in the shade and at night. Mine had white rocker stripes that really complemented the color.
  6. Will the v8s no longer be in Mustangs with the introduction of the Ford GT ?

Back in 84 V8 engines were forbid in my country, until 1994 when they were allowed back again. Those were some very sad years believe me. That meant the death of the Mustang (only V8 was ever sold, so Ford decided to discontinue the Mustang and introduce the T-Bird and Cougar), death of...
  7. If You Could Change Anything......

For me I would just change a couple things: 1. A Borla Exhaust from factory! This 2015 is way too quiet. I know the 5.0 is capable of better sounds because my 2014 sounds way better (its stock). 2. Less weight and mass. This car is huge, I really wish this car would cut half a foot in...
  8. For those who owned a 13/14 Mustang....

I have one of each (not Boss), a 14 vert and a 15 GT. I love both cars, and they are definitely very different in how they drive. Hope this helps: Better in the 15: Ride quality is AGES better, driving on the twisties and handling are just amazing in this car. Steering is very precise...
  9. Redline interior too much for a daily driver?

Oh just forgot to mention that the red leather does get dirty quite easy, so if you want it to look bright red instead of becoming darker, keep it clean...
  10. Redline interior too much for a daily driver?

I have a 2014 convertible, race red, with the premium red leather. I bought this car used from a friend who ordered it like that. At first I thought red exterior with red interior is WAY too much red. My car even has a red steering wheel... After a year of owning this car I have to say...
  11. Convertible as a daily driver?

I have a 14 GT convertible that I pretty much daily drive. I drive it with the top down most of the time, top up when its too hot or raining only. Road noise is more than fine with top up, it really doesn´t bother me at all, so my guess is the 15 convertible is at least the same if not...
  12. Do new coyote 5.0 'Stangs have the same distinct Mustang sound as the fox and 90/00s?

I used to play a game with my brother where one would stand outside on the street, the other inside the house, whenever a car passed we had to guess which car it was (back in the early 80s, if you tried to do this today with the huge number of basic 4 cyl engines its impossible). My ear...
  13. 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Pony Package spotted

Its missing the pony fender badges... why did Ford determine people don´t like the Tri-Bar Pony anymore? Its a classic Mustang logo. The V6 Mustangs have it in the trunk lid for without any color, which makes it look horrible. This pony package needs the tri bar pony badges on the fenders...
  14. History of the Ford Mustang

Thank ALL of those cars... because they are the only reason why the 2015 still exists... all those cars have kept the Mustang alive for 50 years. The OP chose to take larger pics of mostly boring and unappealing cars (which yes, I think the base model Mustangs including the 2015 can be)...
  15. Not enough power?

I am also puzzled at this. I have a 14 convertible also and its surprising de difference in the "butt dyno" feel. I haven´t raced the 15 vs the 14 but the 14 feels so much powerful, you get pushed against the back seat amazingly, where the 15 feels like nothing happened. But I don´t know...
  16. Detailed comparison: S550-S197

LOL I just posted on a very similar thread on another very popular all mustangs forum, and read here to find other people´s comments are right on the spot. I currently both a 14 GT vert and a 15 GT premium with the AP. also have new edge GT and a old 80s fox. Love them all honestly, that´s...
  17. Whats your history with Mustangs?

I "inherited" the Mustang craze from my brother. He had a couple early fox Mustangs when I was still a kid and he loved his cars. When I was 18 I traded a Golf (first car) for my first Mustang, a 1984 notch with the 5.0 and a 4 speed stick. Loved it. Daily driver car during college and a...
  18. 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Pony Package spotted

I think its OK... plain OK, its missing the tri-bar pony badges on the front fenders which looked really cool on previous iterations of this package The rocker stripes are too thin and barely noticeable. I like the chrome window surrounds, wish my 50 YR AP had them, and I´m glad they didn´t...
  19. Those with rear parking sensors

I have a car with both backup camera and sensors, and my 2014 Mustang with backup camera but NO sensors. If I had to choose between the two, its better to have both systems, they complement quite well. The Nav... I prefer my Garmin over the fuzzy and hard to use Ford System, my Garmin is...
