I'll pay for your flight if you want to drive it home? Alternatively, I can recommend some shipping companies to you. Think about it! ;)
Thanks, both. I have more pics to share, just not posting them all here. PM me for more info and especially if you can move your buy date up sooner!
Rohana RF2 19x9.5 +40 in matte black - deep concave, ~21 lbs. each
Michelin PSS 275/40/19
3mm spacers up front - needed to fit the wheel center cap (also, without them, the caliper clearance is less than 1mm)
Stock springs
Jason from getyourwheels.com hooked me up - he was super helpful...
OP, are you sure the Rohana RF1 20x10 can be run in a square setup? I read somewhere that even if it's possible, the offsets are not ideal. I wonder if the RF2 is any different.
Also, I think the Forgestars and HRE Flow Form models (FF01 and FF15 missing from your list) have the most...
You could still run them without center caps then, right?
I guess my point was / the things I wanted to confirm and understand are:
(1) Are the faces of the wheel hubs on the car setup so they are perfectly square around the car? In other words, is the distance between the two front hubs...
The 20x10.5+45 looks like it lines up really flush in the rear while the 20x9+30 is set inward a few millimeters. Would running the 20x10.5+45 in the front help solve this / look the same as the rear?
If you're hitting the track 2-3 times per month, I would buy dedicated wheels/tires for that purpose. I recommend a square setup, too. Nitto NT-01's are an excellent option if you don't want to spring for full racing slicks.
Looks awesome! I think I like the 19" size better than 20", especially because of how tiny the rear brakes look with 20s.
Out of curiosity, why didn't you just get 19x9.5 on the front, too?
Weird that the wider wheels are lighter and a full 1.5 lbs. lighter than they are listed on TSW's...
I've thought of that, but frankly can't stomach the idea of having one of those things in such a nice, new car.
Do they really have airbags IN the seats? Or are those "airbag" tags just there referring to side airbags in the doors?
I'm excited about how light the TSW's are - I can buy these instead of HRE's now and save a ton of money.
Fantastic pic and info, thanks again! I think I want to run 285's all around (square setup for track/HPDE days) and possibly stick to 19" wheels, so my setup won't be exactly the same as...
