We thought about the lug nuts being swollen, but would ALL of them be that way. We tried the 21mm wrench on all of the lug nuts on the car and it would fit none of them.
I have a 2015 GT which I purchased new with the spare tire kit option and standard wheels. Recently I had a flat tire and went to change the tire but the lug nut wrench that came with the kit would not fit the lug nuts on the car. Apparently, the wrench is 21mm and the lug nuts are 22mm. So...
About a year ago (see May 21, 2019 post) my mechanic thought he had discovered why my 2015 Mustang GT had been losing A/C coolant (refrigerant). He noticed a protruding nub (prong) inside the valve dust caps and believes they were pushing down on the Schrader valve when tightened tight. So he...
I think my mechanic has found the reason why my 2015 GT has been losing A/C coolant (refrigerant).
In August of 2018 I experienced hot air coming out of the driver's side vents, and warm air coming out the passenger side vents. So I took my GT to my regular mechanic and he determined the A/C...
Just thought I'd give an update to this thread.
I took the car to the dealer as suggested. They heard the noise immediately and said that the internals of the resonator were falling apart and causing this noise. They have no idea what would have caused this. But they have ordered a new...
JasonStang:
You're right. Today I started the car up in the garage with the windows down and the knocking noise seems to be coming from the center-to-rear of the car, maybe an exhaust leak? After about 20 seconds the noise goes away. What gives?
When I start my 2015 GT 5.0 when stone cold, there is a noticeable engine knock for about 30 seconds until the oil starts flowing. Is this knock normal for these engines? I only have 10K miles on the car.
I'm 68 and NO, my first car wasn't a Model T. If you only want to hear about my performance cars, here's a short list:
1969 Buick GS 400
1970 Porsche 914
2010 Mustang GT Convertible
2015 Mustang GT Coupe
But if you really want to know about all of the performance vehicles I have owned...
Finally taking a long road trip with my 2015 GT. I noticed when I am cruising down the Interstate the view in the rear view mirror is a bit blurred. When I hold the mirror, it clears up.
Has anyone else experienced a vibrating rear view mirror at speed (i.e., 70 mph or so)? If this is not...
Has anyone figured out a way to start the car and have Cruise Control "ON" as the default? I am getting tired of selecting ON every time I drive the car. My left thumb is getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. There must be a law that states that it has to be in the OFF mode when the car starts.
I usually use the paddle shifters when heading into town. There, the road has a long downhill grade and the speed limit turns to 25 mph. Shifting via the paddles into 3rd gear seems to slow down the car and maintains the 25 mph speed.
However, I have noticed that if I keep adding a little...
I have a GT with the Automatic Transmission.
Elsewhere in this Forum it was mentioned that you can use the paddle shifters to select a gear without having to toggle into Sport or Sport+ mode, and without having to shift into S. And that actually works. But, it was also mentioned that the...
Zemedici, thanks for the confirmation on the part number. Looks like the one listed in the Owner's Manual is incorrect.
Pic268: Thanks for the diagram. Now, is the Evaporator Core also behind the glove compartment or is it under the hood somewhere?
The excerpt from the Owner's Manual that Todd15Fastback provided just says there is one and that it filters the cabin air. I still would like to know the part number of the filter and why I can't see it where the manual says it is located (behind the glove compartment). Based on the responses...
Greetings:
I have two questions about the Cabil Air Filter in my GT.
1. What is the correct part number for this filter. The Owner's Manual says FP-53, but when I do an Internet search the vendors say it is FP-78. Which is correct?
2. When I lowered the glove compartment and looked...
