Whatever the actual numbers end up being, it seems like they should be much greater than the 50th anniversary edition numbers. So we should not have to worry about 50th anniversary edition-scale markups, right??

That's true, but if a $500 deposit now can save thousands of dollars on the purchase of the car a year from now, the 10-20% return on that deposit would be more than offset. :cheers:
