Mine was already in for service on the shitty brembo brakes so they checked and sure enough Im part of the recall. Parts have been ordered and lucky me, I get to keep the Edge loaner until they come in.
Hopefully I will get lucky and it will just catch fire and burn down to the ground before...
I found the best way to make the Shaker sound better; listen to an even worse sounding stereo for awhile. Im driving a loaner Edge and the stereo is terrible. Its so bad it makes me realize the Shaker isnt as bad as I thought it was.
I only stream from my phone or use an old mp3 player plugged into the usb port. For both, the system allows you to alphabetically list all the songs stored and you can scroll through and select which you want individually. You can also list them by album, artist or genre. Or you can use sync and...
This is my first, and its definitely going to be my last. Nice car, but just not me. Feels like I just got married only to discover she looks good on my arm, but cant cook and isnt that great in bed.
I came from a Genesis Coupe 3.8 track, and truth be told, trading it was the worst mistake Ive made in years. The mustang is a nice enough car but the Genesis just fit me better. I wanted something new and different, but honestly I should have just traded up to a '15 3.8 Ultimate (which, IMO, is...
Unless "heated arguments" was hyperbole, why even waste the energy? Your dollars, your choice. If they want to see you in an amg or BMW then perhaps they should fund it.
Very true. And most of the hate is directed at the turbo.
Personally I dont get it (or really care). But to me, if a turbo four is good enough to rest in a BMW, Audi or benz, then it works in a mustang too.
Ive had pretty much the opposite reaction. Yesterday at family's house, no one looked or even commented, except two, that said, "you actually bought a....mustang??" and "I liked your old car better."
I guess the s550 has a way to go, down here, before it breaks down any walls.
Should help it. My last car was tuned and I drove the snot out of it and got better mileage than I do out of this ecoboost thing, which I drive like my granddad would. Cant wait to get my Livernois tune.
Washed it once and never doing it again. I will leave it to the pros from now on. I plan to get a monthly/unlimited membership at a local carwash and just go twice a week.
I drove during an icestorm on Michelin summer tires with 35k miles on them last year; didnt see the traction light flicker once.
It got down to 18 last week and I drove the new car with no issues either. Its about taking it easy and using common sense when it gets slick.
For some maybe. Personally, the GT was never a contender for me--they've always been a little too obnoxious for my taste, plus I dont like V8s. I would have considered the V6 if ford offered a performance and/or premium pack. But since they dont, and since I prefer agile handling and dont need...
Im coming from a custom-tuned V6 Genesis coupe that, with the tune and a few mods, was putting out a little over 300 hp to the wheels. I drove with that tune for 50k miles with zero issues, and I ran my car HARD. There was rarely a day that passed that I didnt hit 7200 rpm. And even with me...
My EB sucks around town (usually dips to about 17 mpg) but I cant much complain about all-highway mileage. I just got back from a little roadtrip and saw 460 miles on one tank and 475 on the next, at 70 mph the whole way. Considering I usually only get 250-280 in city driving, thats not too bad...
