Don't know the difference in with the intakes and other compatibility problems...but why not delete DI on a gen 3 aluminator for use in a gen2 car?

My 2015 premium gt has 141k on her....stock trans clutch and shaft. So I am prepping to do the magnum xl swap...is bowler the best option for the wiring? Or is there a simpler method. Looks like even with the bowler all in one you have to some reprogramming to make cruise control work.
