Sorry, I know, another question about cup 2s. I've browsed the forum and even non mustang forums and everyone seems to say the outer vertical rib wears out first and they heat cycle out and chunk after about 4-5 days and to just run them until they cord or chunk.
However, I've now put 10 days...
So I can get a good deal on a set of Continental Extreme Contact Force tires, but they don't have a 305/30r19 option which is what I usually run. So it's either 315 or 295. The 295s are about $200 cheaper for the set compared to the 315s. I would be running a square setup either way and this...

I have a set of Cup 2 98Y ford spec on a GT350 using the Ford spec track alignment (-2 camber in front and -2.2 camber in rear). Maybe 100 street miles on them, but 10x 25min track sessions over 2 days/1 weekend. The fronts seem to be wearing out much faster than the rears, and seem to be...
Is anybody running Motul 700? Any thoughts or opinions on it? I was thinking about replacing the factory PM20 in my GT350 with Castrol SRF but heard it can eat away the clutch seals, so I was going to go with Motul 600 or 660 but then saw the 700. I've run 660 in the past on different vehicles...
Probably putting this in the wrong forum section...
To whoever was driving their GT350 Heritage Edition eastbound on hwy 71 around 10am today in Spicewood Texas. I just want to say that I was not expecting to pass another GT350 HE in middle of nowhere Texas. I was driving the other direction...
So, couple of questions here. My goal is to improve handling with minimal additional NVH, preferably with bolt ons that can easily be changed back out to stock if needed. This is not a drag strip application, and I don't have any issues with wheel hop.
First, why is there so little information...
Just did my first transmission fluid change. Manual says torque the drain bolt back to 21 ft lb. But I can't get 21 ft lbs on it. I thought it was my torque wrench or the sealant on the threads but I've checked 2 different torque wrenches and tried a brand new drain plug with the factory sealant...
Has anybody purchased the Ford Premium Maintenance Plan? I'm specifically asking about the maintenance and not the extended service/warranty.
It seems like a no-brainer, each service visit averages to about $150 per visit, even if i do the oil changes myself it costs almost $150 in just oil...
Looking at the Ford ESP brochures trying to determine all the differences between ExtraCARE and PremiumCARE. Other than all of the electronics/tech, emissions, and safety stuff it looks like there's only a handful of mechanical coverage difference, and from what I can tell here's the only...
I don't have any hard data but it seems like a lot of people with blown engines have it happen under/around 10k miles. I know there's not a lot of higher milage GT350s out there but is it one of those things where if it's going to blow up/consume oil it's going to do it early and if you get past...
I have a 2020 GT350 that is about 6 months out from it's bumper to bumper expiring so I was looking into buying the Ford extended warranty and I saw on Flood Ford's website that there's now a 10 year option. Looks like Ford's website is updated to reflect 10 year max instead of 8 max possible...
I have a set of the OEM camber plates that never got installed on my car. I'm about to get this installed but was wondering if there's any reason not to install the OEM camber plates and get some aftermarket camber plates instead?
Seems there's a lot of info on the MM, Steeda, and Vorshlag...
Was under the car today and saw this. Are the shocks leaking or could this be coming from something else? Seems weird that they're leaking from the bottom up? Also only has about 20k miles.
Passenger side looks worse but drivers side looks like it's leaking too?
Trying to find OEM front brake discs and it looks like the 15-18 cars use part number FR3Z1125E/F which are the drilled rotors. Then the 19/20 cars use KR3Z1125E/F which are the solid rotors.
The drilled rotors I can find for around $170/ea. But the solid rotors I'm having trouble finding for...
Just installed BMR jacking rails but the rear most bolt on the passenger side won't go back in. It'll go in about half way and then starts to really get hard to turn like it's cross threaded but only after about the halfway point.
Did some searching and looks like the bolt hole is just used...
