  1. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Not that hard, just time consuming taking off front fascia, would have been easier with 2 people putting it back on.
  2. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Drove car yesterday for about 26 miles in 88 deg temps, stop and go traffic, hard to get on it to much but did every chance and I didn't notice any heat soak. Power felt great. Right when I got home, I measured the water temp in the overflow bottle which is inline with the water coming out of...
  3. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

My car never see's rain and it seems 90% of my driving is on hot ass days, so the choice is clear to me. Heat soak doesn't blow, it freakin sucks! New Roush LTR on left, whipple oversize right.
  4. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Just received the new roush updated LTR, has a Griffin Rad sticker on box,,,, well not what I expected. Right when picked the box up, I said oh-oh, really light compared to the whipple oversized. It is 1 9/16" thick, about a 1/4" thicker then original. The whipple is 3 1/8" thick and 2" wider...

Thanks Tony, You were right! Talked to Gavin and getting the new heat exchanger today. So I guess I'll be selling the whipple oversized now.
  6. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Thanks Tony! I didn't think 350 halfshafts were much stronger then the stock ones, are they still just thin tubes? Guess I should have checked before buying DSS
  7. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Roush does not contact you. The only way I knew was from reading these mustang forums. I guess you could call roush every 6 months or so.....in another year and a half when my warranty is up, I'll just get a custom tune. I don't want to give that up yet, my dads stock 18 needed a complete trans...
  8. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Th The problem was with the original Roush tune, I bought it in march of 2018, so probably one of the first ones, I think they are on there 3rd or 4th tune now.
  9. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Upshifts when driving normal were jerky and harsh. When at a cruising speed 55-60, and lets say you want pass a car at a normal passing speed, (lol, I know) it was either balls to the wall or nothing. It didn't like down shifting a gear or two, right to the lowest gear possible and hold on...
  10. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

The new tune I got from Roush in July solved the majority of the shifting problems.
  11. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

The VMP pump looks identical to my 2018 Roush pump. I asked Terry (beefcake) if I should upgrade and he said no.
  12. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Did you get this free of charge? I called Roush on Friday about new tune, throttle body and HE and they said new tune and TB are for cars with certain issues and the HE could had for a charge. Sucks because I just bought the whipple oversize and ordered the brackets for 120! That looks about...
  13. Whipple heat exchanger on a Roush kit

Thanks! When you read the description on the whipple site it says, comes in black finish and the hardware required for a simple bolt on. I guess not!
  14. Whipple heat exchanger on a Roush kit

Has anyone installed a Whipple standard or oversized heat exchanger on 2018 Mustang set up with the Roush kit? Tring to figure out if the mounting brackets are the same. Just called whipple and they want $120 for the damn brackets. They look similar, but hard to tell from pics. Also, has anyone...
  15. 2018-19 5.0L Roush supercharged custom tuning from Livernois Motorsports

I called Livernois to install my Roush blower last year, they wanted over 3K, I laughed for over a hour! Bill Brown Ford did it for $1500. Flawless work too!
  16. Q1a drive shaft who has one

I've tried Gforce, DSS and Qa1. They all vibrated on the freeway, tried rotating every position possible. Back to stock, which has me concerned with the blower and sticky mickeys
