Crikey Paul,
We're all so lucky to have this forum for venting off completely free. And I have met some great friends on here too. And now they're worried it isn't good enough for us.
Amazing :hail:
PS: I have experienced nothing but excellence!
I was at the MOCGB function at Ford, Dunton last year. A bloke there had a convertible pre-production Mustang first registered in the UK before the first official car was sold in the States. I think from memory it was early April 1964 - shown on the tax disc. It came to Europe for evaluation...
Hi Moz,
Your gear changes and the exhaust sounded great on the video. I especially like the look of your car from the front with the black roof. Pity your passenger left the sun visor down though!

Good thread. I'm going to hold back on any suggestions for now because I still have a few roads to try in this car.
It crossed my mind to recommend M25 Anticlockwise J10-J9 for SteveC - perhaps Road to Hell as a track :headbang:
Fox & Goose is the evening meeting place for MOCGB as well.Third Friday of the month, next one 15 April :D
Funny story about that. He sold his wheels brand new to the S197 owner parked beside me:
Sorry I didn't get any wheel pics but...
.......the guy that owns the Magnetic car is also...

Thanks for coming along Terry. I was worried we would be a bit thin on the ground because of the weather and Easter. In the end I think the count was 6 S550's and 9 other Mustangs plus the SS Camaro - not bad.
A big  to slowhand99 for the travelling round from...
Which is probably what we are going to get! The weather in Chelmsford tomorrow is dry in the morning :amen: with a slight chance of a shower turning to solid rain around 4pm.
I will be bringing my '65 Fastback K-Code and the missus will be driving the new one.
If anyone else wants to join...
Congratulations Slowhand99! Great pictures too. Regarding the tyres you'll find they are a bit slithery over the first (say) 200 miles as they bed in. Mine have definitely improved vastly after that. Now the air temps are coming up I am getting more confident (perhaps foolishly) by the day.

Yesterday mine was parked in a really wide parking space like Moz has. Came back to it and there's a dent in the rear wheel arch. Fortunately took it to Dent Devils just down the road and they are fixing it today for ÂŁ120. But I feel peeved. Who are these careless tossers who damage other...
I reckon you're right. I sat in Harwich one day watching a team going back and forth fetching Range Rovers and JCBs from the car park to put on a ship. They must have been bored witless.
My worry (because you have to have one) is that the car was started and run cold for short distances way...
Reckon mine was 25 - a few extra for having stripes.
In the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter. These cars have been in and out of so many car parks before they reach the UK, it's not surprising.
As an aside I got a new Boxster in 1999 and the mileage display was blank...

Yes, great plate! So they let you take the car just as it came off the transporter - awesome! Really interesting to see all the stickers, cover etc. :clap2:
