yeah pretty normal range. Do you have the Performance package? I believe with a bigger radiator, it will help lower those temps or at least extend your track session
Ironically, the 2.3 ecoboost 2018 to 2020 have quite a severe injector sound but you do not hear it if the engine cover is installed. Many models 21-23 no longer have engine covers and you can hear it pretty easily.
It’s a loud injector tick but sounds almost like valve timing or lack of oil...
100% it will not cause any damages. Modern engines are well controlled
However, knock and poor engine efficiency can lead to problems and more often services required.
You can’t expect to run 87 on a 460HP engine, expecting to have optimal output in every stroke, every milliseconds of ignition...
87 will give worse fuel economy on long term use versus using premium. Plus with the timing being pulled more often due to knock and/or cylinder(s) heat, it is just not as efficient as it should be, especially for being a high HP oriented engine.
yeah man gas for premium is sure more expensive...
yeah to many variables could contribute to this, especially the driving behaviour, you.
morning drive, did you heat up the tires a bit for optimal grip? what was the outdoor temperatures like? PSI tires ?
at 55mph, you have the 350tq available pretty much immediately, all of it depending on...
Nokians tires are God tier for winter, glues down crazy but they are hella expensive. That is how you can tell if the tires are good, you no longer need the snow toggle mode haha
Drove a 2015, 2017 and 2018 throughout the years in Canada - Winter tires required, if you have the snow/wet toggle mode it helps tremendously.
the car is fantastic in snow, the traction system and ABS are doing a wonderful job. The culprit here that people stigmatizes the RWD is when you are...
The irony lies in the fact that the undercoating was present throughout my engine and underneath the car and other similar sensor designs without having any issues.
However, it appears that only specific units from the 2018-2019 batches are prone to immediate failure due to undercoating or dust...
Kinda, frankly it's up to you. I think the ANC was set to tone certain undesired sound based off the existing OEM exhaust/intake/turbo sound. Anything that alters the db levels or existing frequencies sound of the car may not be properly acoustically tuned by the ANC.
For instance, when I have...
Hey guys,
I was lurking around eBay and found some aftermarkets replica of the 2024 S650 platform taillights for S550 platform.
They look supersized because of the rear quarter panels being smaller size for the s550 rear versus the s650
Ebay - LED Tailights S650 Replica
The noise cancellation on the back helps re-create specific frequencies to overshadow some engine and road noises through the speakers, so technically it is normal that the car sounds chaotically louder if you have this disconnected in the cabin
That is odd, I have Ruthenium HX and it is totally fine. 25k on them so far and are still great. Did you get the right ruthenium HX tip design? There are 2 in the markets, one for turbocharges engines and one for NA (DFE & PSPE). Sounds to me you got a DFE model of the HX?
I had quite a few...
Hey, any updates on this? Also...if you aren't going to be using it anymore, I'd be very interested to purchase it from ya, I live in same province fyi
