Ok so not sure if this will be welcome info or not because not necessarily good news and maybe all of you are already aware. Build date is affected by dealer allocations. So if your build comes up and the dealer doesnāt have the allocation then it gets bumped. Thatās the 30,000ā view. Found a...
What sucks is the unfairness going on. People with build dates much closer to order date than others. Itās like getting in line at the store and having an employee of said store just pulling people out of line behind you and pushing you back! Never happen in the ārealā world of course so W T F...
Lol ok you got me there...then, I'll change to after you pass that staring at it constantly stage. I've been there and in fact I'm one of those that park my car WAY away from e1 in parking lots and I always turn back to stare at it, walking backwards as I do :-) and I've had mine for 9 months.
Chal is a good looking car, no doubt, but as I heard a reviewer state once, "It's a big fat pig" . It always amazes me when I pull up beside one that it's almost as tall, and even wider than my SQ5. And while I've never driven one, I understand that while ride is good, it doesn't have...
Anyone experience a disconnect between what their order status is in 2nd email from Ford (VIN notification) and what the order tracking page shows? When I got that email showed status as "Scheduled for Production" with build week of 12/6, but order tracking still only shows "Order Confirmed"...
So it wonāt show up on your Ford.com account. I found that out by calling Ford. If salesperson put your email on the order and they should have then you should get an email fairly quickly (we received same day) from Ford confirming your order. Will look like the attached and outlines other...
Yes but a lot of what is going on now esp in DFW is price gouging, plain and simple. I wouldnāt buy a car off the lot from these guys if they had the last car on the planet. And Ford should do something about it, itās so ugly!!

As I understand it, if you have a VIN, your order will be built. Ford schedule in sufficient time between order banks closing and the new model year builds.

I see your a moderator so do you happen to know if an order already has a VIN will it for certain be a MY2021 or could Ford invalidate the VIN, cancel order and instruct customer to resubmit when MY2022 order banks open up?
I may be being naive, but I believe that for those of us with VINs our cars will be built this year. I know the plant closure this week is disheartening, but it is just one week and there are people on here that got their cars even though their cars were in the pipeline during the May, June and...
I see many window stickers on Ford dealers across the country with blend dates late August/early Sep so if Ford is indeed prioritizing customer orders over dealer orders then how is this happening?? Need a contact at Ford for THAT complaint!
I don't think it will be '22 based on several people saying the VIN determines model year and we already have our VIN...plus having a hard time waiting as it is, certainly don't want to wait until Q1 or later for '22.
:lipssealed::facepalm:Not sure why we have to judge each other either way...different strokes for different folks...or, in this case different shifts š
