That is precisely why, when looking for a daily driver, it has to be a manual transmission. If i'm going to spend a large amount of time in this vehicle, it needs to be enjoyable.
I've been in hours long stop and go freeway traffic, driving both manual and automatic and I can crawl slower and...
Very much so, but more so, they don't want any court ever even attempting to say, "See, Ford told me I needed to use the full RPM band, so I floored it and lost control colliding with that school bus full of young children with cancer, if they hadn't told me to use the upper rpm's, those kids...
I think situational awareness is key to everything in driving, if you don't know what's going on around you, than you don't know anything. Fundamentally this is what makes a driver a driver and not a passenger.
I often drive my mk1 mr2 and mini coopers tower over me like SUV's, so I've picked...
Is there no aftermarket quicker steering rack for the S197?
I don't care as much what the factory puts in, as long as the aftermarket supplies the option.
If we're both in the same car, are you confident you're faster than me on the strip?
I'm confident about the twisty's.
(I know this wasn't aimed at me, but I'm a flawed person and I'm bored with nothing to do right now :( )
100%^
I've never had any experience with manual chokes or adjusting timing on the fly, because of that I would say a driver who does know how to do those things Is better than I.
While driving I watch all these people randomly applying their brakes for no reason in a straight line and people...
Can anyone please tell me what the logic behind this is?
I admit i've seen this in one place as well, but I can't come up with a single reason why backing into all parking spots is not better every single time, always.
I can list a dozen reasons to back in and not a single to pull in...
It's so hard to tell peoples feelings in type, as much of communication can't be expressed fully in words, so I do hope you're smiling as much as me, because sometimes I question that.:headbang:
In that statement was not referring to a malfunction, I was referring to something a programer or...
If you want to get pedantic, I've seen studies that show even from best to worse, our reflexes are extremely predictable and not all over the map; I know that was not your main point, but you seem hung up on something that was not my main point either.
My point was and still is, any skill you...
Yea....I feel ya....but I've been in control of my fair share of deadly weapons (never anything capable of killing more than tens of people) and I've never felt that less control would be a better thing, if you don't like my my analogy then replace weapons with vehicles.
My analogy may be...
Any skill you don't use, you lose. As the cars get better the drivers get worse.
I've always been of the opinion that when you're in control of a deadly weapon, you should be in full control.
The problem is ford just says aluminum and doesn't not specify; brushed vs engine turned vs other.
I've never seen more than one color of engine turned dash; could you show a picture?
I can only find one picture of a dash that (other than the 50th L.E.) is neither brushed aluminum nor...
I was joking about the giant Mickey Mouse hand/glove that popped up if you didn't get a spare. :)
Suggesting that all who didn't get the spare got the middle finger instead.
I like my women/cars nailed on the floor and with their rear hanging out all the time.
On another topic; If one was to keep a clear bra on for approximately two years, then decides that it's no longer looking nice and remove the clear bra is it: A. hard to remove? B. does it leave any...
