I was at a RaceTrac gas station just north of Dallas before the Sherman exit yesterday and saw an Avalanche Grey with white stripes. I was driving the Lightning Blue
We both waved at each other and he tore out of there in a nice loud fashion...lol
You're the first person I've seen complain about the transmission on Camaros. I'll have to check Camaro6 and see what they're saying. as far as modding the new Camaros I've only seen/heard good things. NicKey Performance has their project car build going now. They did some work on my 1LE...
Hey All,
Just purchased a 2017 Lightning Blue GT350 from Dale Howard in Iowa Falls.
I'm in the West Des Moines area. Hopefully see some of you at the track.
I'm a firm believer that your amateur video for this type of content should be no longer than 10 minutes. Let's face it...you're limited by production quality and your talent to be engaging and keep an audience.
Now if you're doing stuff like Motortrend or Car and Driver, where you have the...
hehe..."level of embarrassment," I don't subscribe to the fanboyisms...it's a zero sum argument. I do like that the ZL1 1LE is purpose built for the track and that Al Oppenheiser is not afraid to say it. "Caveat Emptor" right? ZL1 1LE is just a little out of my price range...plus I think I'd...
How many people here have actually seen a ZL1 1LE in the flesh or driven it? This is another bench racing magazine thread. Even MotorTrend judges couldn't agree. Best quote from the story:
"The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE’s fourth-place finish was a contentious one. We could agree on power and...
$4000? not cheap...
I'm not too familiar with FPCs so that's why I'm asking all the dumb questions. There's the dash "thing" I read about and also big rubber mounts to tame the vibration?
I thought the FPCs are supposed to run/idle smoother?
Best story I heard from a friend was the guy negotiated the sell price for his 350R (~$75K), finance was approved...his friend went to the bank and came back check in hand....
then the Dealership GM stepped in at the last minute and said "oh no...we can't finalize this deal at that price. we...
It was more or less something about the dash and gauge bezels moving already on newer cars because of the engine. Seemed crazy to me, but yes...the Rattlestang is well known
Man...never want to see people have trouble with their cars.
you should read the Z06Vette forums on the early LS7s.
-has this been a common issue with the Voodoo? I had read and seen a couple videos where they seemed to infer that the engine vibration could be a long term issue?
I've always been of the understanding for performance cars that you drive with the original oil through the engine break in mileage then change it right after that.
