9/19. Car finished production yesterday, on 9/19/2019. Good call RJay!
Here it is yesterday just prior to going to the trim shop for installation of the spoiler and wheels/tires.
It is. And they aren't selling so they are giving then away. Great car for the money.
Its actually a rebadged Opel Insignia Country Tourer. Wagon life!
Mine changed as well. My salesman called the regional rep, and was told a scheduled build date of 9/20. That checks out with what I was told when I ordered in July. I was quoted a build date the week of 9/16.
Bling!
Ps. The 2020 configurator now lists the Shelby. Mine below!
Ewwwwwww.
All joking aside, I know everyone has a preference, manual vs auto.
However, given it is such a low volume vehicle, and was originally designed with a manual, it is not realistic to have both. EPA certs, crash tests, etc. make it too costly.
Was hoping for more changes for the 5k.... Oh well, I have my allocation set and am getting it MSRP, so cant complain too much.
Although, the press release does not mention any pricing info. Maybe the increase was a mistake?
Just got a call from my salesman. I got a VIN for my 2020 R and expected build the week of Sept 16!
Dealer is only about 20 miles from Flat Rock Assembly. Hopefully that makes for a nice short transit time. It would be a shame if I got it and had to store it for the winter before driving.
Correct. Which is why if I had to pay an ADM on top, I would have said take a hike. 77K is getting close to some mighty cool used car territory at that point. That is low mileage 997.2 manual Turbo territory, or even good condition used R8 territory.
Not 100%, but my salesman spoke with his rep, and no significant changes for 2020. I got mine ordered at MSRP though, so not a big deal to me
The 2020 order guide posted here reflect that statement as well.
