But you do understand that sometimes your being lied to correct?
I mean what good is a dyno number if its not real?
On an unloaded dyno you can throw timing at the vehicle, timing that wont be good for the vehicle on the street and make more power so what good does that do the consumer...
I havent mentioned or quoted any other company in this thread. I'm speaking in generalities when it comes to whats been posted as dyno numbers or results.
Sorry if my comments seem to be snide, they are not meant to be but also keep in mind I dont sugarcoat anything that I say when it comes...
I agree totally, it is about bragging rights but in the end they dont really mean that much.
I'm of the mindset that I would rather go to the track with lower dyno numbers and run better then anyone boasting higher inflated numbers that are not accurate.
Your also right, it doesnt hurt...
Dyno numbers mean squat in the real world.
Its a tool and a tool only to show baseline numbers and gains for components added and/or tuning. An unloaded dyno number means even less then squat and thats coming from us who has an in house Dynojet dyno.
Track times, driveability and SOTP feel is...
It was more the FMIC then the pipes themselves. Our car still has stock piping/hoses on it and the FMIC made the biggest difference due to lower temps. IAT2 temps drop alot.
JJ
You should feel a difference with an off road pipe, even if your just stock with no tune. We tested our own OR pipe on our car totally stock with and without a tune and the difference was felt not only on the dyno but in the SOTP.
JJ
I'm sorry but I am not interested in you in particular just what your relationship is to the company you seem to represent. In this day of Internet anonymity it can sometimes be hard to know that information and its good for those involved on this site, vendor or member to know who they are...
I'm confused, please bear with me for a moment.
Title of thread is "1st mod just came in", does that mean you just got it yourself or CPE just got it? Also your location shows PA but CPE is in Md. Do you work for CPE or are just an internet spokesperson?
Just trying to figure this out thats...
Thanks for that. :headbang:
We would be happy to help. We have our own OR Downpipe in stock, our own dyno and can do pretty much anything the OP would want done.
Give us a call if your interested.
JJ
Whatever you decide if we can be of any help just give us a call. We have a very nice affordable downpipe available along with other products/tuning etc...
Thanks,
JJ
This cars results while impressive should not give anyone the impression that your stock motor can handle alot more power then whats already been suggested. Taking hundreds of pounds off this car, installing a bigger turbo, 3:73 gears, a fuel cell pusher pump, water to air intercooler etc...
I apologize for taking this OT.
I would be happy to debate dyno tuning, fuel system limits and any other items associated with this platform.
These EB 2.3's have only been out for 6 months and the majority of tuners have found issues with this platform that need to be ironed out and you...
Its amazing to me how all of the other tuners, using different tuning platforms, including Livernois say there is a fueling issue with this car and your the only one saying, but not proving otherwise and on top of that you say that running E85, which requires 40% more fueling then E10 (pump gas)...
But thats not what you said.
If there are results using/tuning with E85 I'm sure everyone here would like to see them however I for one know for a fact that when running E85 you need 40% more fuel to make the same power as E10 and thats just not in the cards when it comes to what the stock...
The statements in bold type above are what I would like to discuss.
No problems with fueling on E85 on your car, customers cars and other shops cars yet not one mention of any of those cars doing anything power wise or track wise and yes I understand your still snowed in but there has to be...
