MTs are cool and fun, half of my cars have had manuals. But I really love the 10 spd in my EB. If I want to shift I'll use the paddles, but frankly I haven't used them much at all yet.
EVs are getting better all the time, and the battery tech is improving as well. Give it time and they'll have lighter batteries with fast recharge times. When the Big 3 and the rest of the international manufacturers are putting tons into this technology, it will only get better. The only thing...
I actually thought I'd like paddle shifting better than an auto-stick (like the Tiptronic auto that was in my 2000 Passat), but after using them a bit I really prefer an auto-stick setup. Just seems more intuitive...or maybe I just need to practice using the paddle shifters more. As for the...
An EV Mustang needs to happen, I just hope Ford doesn't screw the pooch on this and let everyone else beat them to the punch. It's already a proven fact that EVs produce power that blows away ICE vehicles.
Yep, these are lower-end, mass produced sports cars. Low production, special models become collectible (sometimes) and of course, high end sports/supercars tend to retain and sometimes increase their value. But then, I didn't get my Mustang to turn around and sell it, I'll probably keeping this...
Hmm, I'm going to double-check with mine as far as fit goes - that might be the reason they are saying to pull the rear bumper. If I don't have to pull mine, it will go faster.
Ok, so looking over the instructions for the Stealth Hitch, it doesn't look that hard. Have to pull the bumber cover and lower and support the exhaust at the rear. The hitch mounts to the rear frame rails like the other ones. One nice thing is there's no cutting/trimming of the lower bumber...
Dang, I just got mine, but haven't installed it yet. This thing is huge and heavy, it's got to be way more than 30 lbs though! But it's beautifully built.
I've got a 2018 base EB with the 10R80. I got it with the 101A package to get remote start. Actually, I got it with the 101A rather than getting a premium is because the 101A had the options I wanted and the premium had a bunch of stuff I didn't want for a lot more $$$.
As the OP, I just ordered one, haven't received it yet. Not sure how difficult it will be to install, they don't actually have install instructions posted like for other vehicles. Looking at install guides for other cars, it doesn't seem that hard (like no more difficult than installing a...
lol, that might work for a special order or if you pick one right off the truck, but for any car that's been on the lot it's already been touched....several times in fact - that's why they clean them regularly - dirty cars don't sell as well.
