Oh no! This sounds like a terrible situation for you and your car. My order took 24 weeks to get to the dealer but the transit to Illinois was very fast and lucky I guess - fingers crossed.
Haha! I actually want my brother from St. Louis to come up and buy it so she’ll stay “in the family” lol. If the hubby didn’t have to have a commuter car it would have been considered to pick up a second one!
Dealer has my original order on the lot now. Kind of sad seeing it online - available to whomever - hoping it gets sold and taken out of town. Hubby still happy we got the one with polished aluminum and 19-inch wheels so I guess I need to let it go lol.
I went from being very salty with Ford to being very satisfied. But a cancelled order had to get in the way of my happiness for a while. lol hoping all of the remaining cars (1?) without wheels get finished soon!
I have the message too and mine has shipped should be at the dealer tomorrow so if you are past “In Production” with your order now I think you can ignore the parts shortage message - whew!
car is now officially “In Transit” - FPC confirmed this - shipped today and dealer should have the cars around 4/10/19. Had I known this would occur only a few weeks after my replacement was found I might have waited on my original order. Regardless - due to the dealer’s extra order of my same...
They are finally getting to the Illinois cars whoo hoo. My order is built now, awaiting shipment and etd 4/14/19 which makes sense if they take them on a truck, drop off at my dealer first then yours maybe? My window sticker works but my Learn about your vehicle link comes up with nothing. My...
It seems optimistic to have a delivery date 6 days away since the car is not even in transit yet but....I will still let you know the progress it shows!
Lol - my philosophy is a car on hand is worth two stuck on the Flat Rock plant parking lot without steering wheels lol. Get your deposit back & go for the green Bullitt- you would not be the only one on these threads to do that!
It is very good but highly unfortunate to hear these words from a loyal Mustang owner. Times have surely changed - and not for the better it seems.
Your dealer being reluctant to refund your deposit is ridiculous. My dealer kept reassuring me “there is no scenario in which you will lose your...
You and I are in this steering wheel-less boat together - kind of. My original vehicle was ordered on 10/20/18 and not scheduled to be built until 2/19/19 - which oh how lucky was a week during the time when they did builds without steering wheels which personally I think was a stupid greedy...
He might possibly be mistaken - mine thought they had allocation but actually did not. If your car is not scheduled within a month, definitely press the issue. Someone on here said they “demanded their dealer show them their allocation” - I did not go that route but you might want to ask to...
It means you had better check with the dealer to make sure they have “allocation” to place your order or you may be sitting for many months with an “unsched/clean” status - trust me - it happened to me specifically. Took them 12 weeks just to get my build scheduled due to the dealer’s...
I struggled with choosing Kona vs Velocity blue - since the Kona is really fantastic too!
I still have a Honda but yes you are correct I need to update my avatar, maybe put in a photo...
Lol glad the tracker is working for you lol
