Agree, but we are still at an unknown future right now on prices. Still lots of excitement around the R for sure though. I guess we'll see.
If you would have told me a year ago that $2K under MSRP on a 2017 GT350 would be possible last month (I have a confirmed purchase at this), I would...
Had a GT350R offered to me at $10K ADM and decided to pass.. I'm trying to be patient with getting an R and think I can do a little better as more time goes by. It didn't help that the car was the wrong color for me.
Some dealers are still quoting me $20K ADM firm and swear that they will...
I remember when the Scud came out, it's track specific focus is just over the top and it out-performed the Enzo at the track. Aluminum floors, full carbon fiber interior, and looks and sounds to die for (I still remember hearing one driving beside me from 4-5 years ago, it sounded like a...
I like this discussion of ZL1 vs GT350, but you hit the nail on the head.
Can we just ban those Camaro owners who come over here and start shit? I don't mind a well educated, open minded debate, but this thread had gotten ridiculous.
Dealer today told me they have been told 1000 2018 GT350R's are expected to be produced, in addition to the 1000 in 2017. They don't know how many they will be allocated as of right now, but should know within a month. We'll see.
The "R" snobs are here. Man, you'd think the standard GT350 was an ecoboost to these guys. The differences are not as great as some proclaim, I have driven both and the standard GT350 is an amazing drive, no doubt.
The "R" gives you some exclusivity and the add-ons are very nice (just ask...
I think the "crappy" dealers outweigh the "good" dealers list. Perhaps a thread about what dealers are good to deal with/have integrity is really the way to do this list.
Go buy an Ariel Atom if all you want is a track vehicle.
There's so much that just how fast something will go around a track! And the GT350 and GT350R have that something that makes it special IMO. :ford:
I can honestly say, I would have most likely not purchased a GT350 that had been test driven by a customer and I understand the position dealers are in. The times I have ordered a car, I won't even let the dealer rip the plastic off the seats or detail it.. I want full control of the car and...
I think a lot of "R" owners on here are not being straight up about what they paid over for their "R".. not saying some of you didn't get MSRP, but there seems to be more fairy tale stories about how people paid MSRP than seem realistic. No one really wants to admit that they paid way over...
