I read an article some where that Ford did worked on 4.8L to get CAFE friendly, but Ford later engineer 5.0L to CAFE standard what ever that means, and 4.8L wont be needed any time soon.
Heck this guy go all out replacing LT4 to his new 2016 Camaro SS and SC with whole bunch other supporting mods and not even get a lot out of it.

Speaking of FGT Ford needed another Mid Engine with MSRP around $150k to replaced $400k FGT. Wouldn't mind V8 4.0 FPC TT on Mid-Engine with $150k MSRP.
New F150 will have 12 injectors 2 injectors for every cylinder. One injector will spray direct into the top center of the bowl shape piston and the other injector is in the intake port spray ahead of the valve, and CAMS are 4lbs lighter, guess these tech will be on Mustang. Imagine 16 injectors...
lol!!!! got got me there, But if you know your car well even when you do stupid things at least you know you and your car limit. By knowing the limits that you would avoid doing stupid things.
