I have noticed that as well. It's a second jolt feeling after the car shifts. It's gotten so rough it feels like a donkey is kicking me in the back of the head. Very disappointed that Cobb has done nothing about this.
Thanks for the feedback! It is just a no brand Y pipe made and installed by my local exhaust shop in Texas. Fabricating + welding & labor it only cost me $80. I saw no need to spend $250 on the Flowmaster one. The y pipe made it way louder but it's pretty quite if your foot is not in the gas. It...
Awesome seeing you here! I certainly want to go catless but I've heard they smell bad and are tinny sounding. I'm thinking the Pypes dp sounds good especially for $290. Although i should probably buy a new IC before the DP :headbonk:
Any theories? Motor Trend recently tested an EB against the 4 banger Camaro and found the 0-60 on the Stang was significantly slower than last year. My assumption is Ford "revised" the stock tune because they were getting too many warranty claims. I'll post the article below...
That makes sense. What a great post! Only makes you wonder what would happen if the v6 ecoboost ever made it into a mustang. Ford would have to spend even more money to slow it down :D
According to Motor Trend on the stock ECU you will max out around 18 psi. With a conservative tune such as the OTS Cobb tune sustained boost is about 20 psi with temporary peaks of 24.5 psi.
Just installed the Denso's that i bought from Adam yesterday. It was a pretty simple task and its nice having some peace of mind knowing that the gapping was properly done by a professional. Why do i hear some people say the Denso's are prone to failure?
Yes! I know! Very unpleasant indeed. Guess i'm now cornered into spending more money to get it tuned by the legend named Adam. I've head he'll make your auto feel like a Rolls Royce tranny.
Yeah Texas summers can be brutal! Gets close to 100 just about every day and it's always pretty humid. Since i have a tune and the stock IC i need to watch it on the throttle during the day and wait for it to cool down at night.
