Just picking up on the dashcam thread, this is probably a stupid question, but if you can power a 12v radar detector from the rear view mirror, can you power a dashcam? I'm guessing the amps will be the issue, but thought I would ask the question to see if anyone had tried it.

Unfortunately it's not the 2018 model, although I did enquire at several dealers to see if I could get one. I did read somewhere that the order book opens in Sept '17 for 2018, and on a 12 month waiting list that was too late for me as I need something by May as my current lease expires. So...
