  1. 2016 MUSTANG GT - Oil on valve covers?

Have you had the covers off before? My 17 wetted around those sensor ports. Even worse after I had them off and on a couple of times. No you don't need to replace the cover. You can buy a gasket set that includes the packings for the sensor ports and the spark plug holes.
  2. Oil pump gear install?

That is definitely the style you need with the rods that foxcoupe has in the photo.
  3. Oil pump gear install?

I used the MMR puller, it works really well. You will not likely be successful with any regular puller from the parts stores.
  4. AnnArbor/Dexter MI repair shop

I would suggest doing it yourself, but I don't really trust anyone to work on anything I own to be honest. If you are willing to drive an hour, you are not that far away from Livernois Motor Sports. I haven't been home in a long time, but they used to be on Gulley in Dearborn. They have blown...

  7. Washington 2015-2017 GT Corsa Sport Axle Back

Corsa sport axle back for sale. Ran this with X-pipe for about 5k miles before trying another route. Should fit up to a 2022 without active exhaust, please verify any interchangeability options on your own. If you are local, I wouldn't mind fitting it up for verification. Has everything you...
  8. A better plastic restorer or paint with plasticcoat?

Second this. I think this is the best plastic restore I have ever used. It lasts too! It looks good for months without fading or quickly returning to that chalky appearance.
  9. Rattle near Driver's A-Pillar

Oh the amazing rattles of the Mustang. I have had numerous. Most recent one I fixed that I thought was coming from the pillar was actually the air vent rattling below the dash. You would think being rubbing against pleather that it wouldn't rattle, but it was. I took that all apart and slipped...
  10. Ford Performance Track Handling Pack - What do I need?

I just swapped back my front struts to the stock PP struts. Had the track struts and I will tell you that the drop is considerably more than an inch. Not quite sure how or what people measure as the drop, but wheel well height from the ground was close to a 3 inch difference. Get ready to hit...
  11. Relocating to WA info

Just depends on what county you are in. Also, some counties, it depends on what city you are in. Biggest thing is the tax if you live in the I5 corridor which is something like Everett down to Fife area. Your registration could be several hundred dollar difference between a taxed area or not. I...
  12. Crank key and dampener damage?

It looks like just the key is broken. Has the dampener been off before? It looks almost as if the key was not completely set in the channel and then possibly forced when tightening up the dampener onto the crank. I would dig out the old key and check the channel on the crank to ensure its...
  13. EcoBoost gauge/Mach1

What kind of boost number are you expecting to see. Shouldn't need to do anything for it to read right. I searched into it a lot before doing the same on my GT. Mine reads right around 8lbs which is spot on to what it should read without doing anything more than swapping the gauges out.
  14. California OEM Shadow Black PP Spoiler

Way south- Lake Isabella? I was stationed at Edwards for several years. Not driving that far down though. :-)
  15. California OEM Shadow Black PP Spoiler

    Where at in California?
  16. Constant clunking from swaybar endlinks?

If you are working like normal people without a lift and what not. You just need to get the car weight on the suspension. If you have the car on jack stands, take a piece of wood on a floor jack and lift the suspension up to take the weight of the front jack stands. If the discs are on, you can...
  17. Widest tire setup on PP1 wheels

Hoosier has a good chart that shows recommended tire widths for the rim width. its at the bottom of the page. https://www.trackattackpro.com/
  18. Good to be Here!

Welcome- there are not a lot of people that I see from Seattle area on here. Keep your eyes open on Craigslist, I am regularly looking on there even when I don't need to spend anything, but there are some decent deals that pop on there for Mustang wheels from time to time...
  19. 2018+ dual clutch on a 2015+ manual car, possible?

I am supercharged and have had it on for 11k miles, still have the stock clutch in and quite honestly, I am impressed with how well it handles the power. A lot of people will trash talk the stock clutch, but mine has 72K miles and still grabs like a gem. I will say that I am not running slicks...
  20. What are your favorite drives in WA?

Depends where you are in WA. There are a ton of great drives. Chuckanut is a great drive around Burlington area. In Western WA, I always love the drive up through towards the Dry falls.
