It would be much easier to do a GT350 rear conversion on the M1 , they still use cables rather then electric ... I work for Ford and everything I would need to do the conversion is about 2,800.00 using all Ford parts . Not cheap .

The lower rear support is a 2 piece type bushing , getting one side in takes some finagling but I got them in , this job would have been done but now its take it all apart and start from scratch , I can probably do it in my sleep now ....
