31" will be pushing it IMO. I had 225/60/18s on my 2012 and that was a large tire at just over 29". The 2012 also has much more fender to tire clearance than the 15s. I had problems with snow and ice building up in the rear fenders to the point I lost almost all suspension travel and the tries...
I bought the cheapest winter tires I could for my 2012 GT, the Falken hs449. Right at $100 each for huge 225/60/18s and they were great. I got two good seasons out of them and they would have gone a third. And that's beating the piss out of them drifting everywhere. I bet 3-4 seasons if you...
Just wondering if anyone that is running taller rear tires has any problems with the computer. My new rear tires will be about 1" taller than the fronts (255/35vs285/35) and just wondering if there are major problems with the advanced track, ABS, traction control.
I have heard from two people...
That is strange. I spent all of 5-10mins wiring the three wires. We soldered the small ignition wire to the larger gauge fuse wire, then used the supplied fuse jumper under the first small 15amp Blue fuse toward the front of the car. Ground with the ground on the strut tower. Then the power wire...
We also had to drop the rear subframe farther down. We left the front bolts in about 3-5threads and removed the rear bolts. Then lowered it down about 3" or so. Doing this let the rear springs come out very easy.
Also if you haven't seen the stage3 motors sports install on the red ecoboost, they run the plastic air lines through the cab and under the door trim and carpet. I actually prefer this way, and may rerun my two front lines.
Not really, I did have to get some extra fittings and plugs from Home Depot. And then even more fittings to adapt to the Husky dryer. The less adapters and fittings the better, less places for leaks.
I would also recommend rubber grommets for any place the plastic lines go through the...
Installed the airlift digital kit over the weekend. Still have a few leaks to try and fix, and maybe rerun some of the lines, but overall very happy with the way it turned out.
The back could be adjusted down about another 1/2". But the front is as low as I want to go with it. This is aired...
Ended up going to Home Depot and getting a $12 husky water separator. Worked great and was about the same size as the one that came with the kit.
Everything seems to be working. I might have a few small leaks to chase down, and maybe rerun a line or two, but I'm very happy with the results and...
Think I'm going to order an SMC brand filter/dryer. The sales rep is giving me a discount on it due to the problems. Says there should never be that much moisture in it to cause it to leak constantly for 5mins.
Will be removing the filter that's on it, after checking to see if it really did...
I will have to check the controller today to see if it did hold some pressure last night. Was to late to keep working on it. Worst case I will take the filter off and see if the system will pressurize without it, and order a replacement/different brand I guess.
Live in KC, MO. It was decently humid but nothing crazy. We were in garage that had the AC going most of the day.
Messaged one of the sales reps that I purchased it from, and he said I am the forth person to have this problem.
