Very unfortunate. I don't think you should give up on the turbos, just learn from your mistakes and move on. You're taking a step backwards going with a supercharger. Get a good boost controller, learn how to hook it up and operate it. Never get impatient with adding boost. Always have...
I'm guessing the factory gauge reads off a calculation of air flow. Maybe since the controller increases the boost ramp that affects the gauge. Don't know.
I'm sure Lund is a great tuner but there's tuners out there that are doing a really good job on the 15's.
Lund is certainly not tuning...
The controller should not affect the factory boost gauge.
I get that.. But at least you have suspension parts on the market.
Fluid has brought nothing to market for the consumer…. Hellion has the market cornered for a quality mass produced TT kit.
Soooo…. Lund is not tuning turbo...
If you're increasing the duty cycle and not seeing the boost go up then I'd look over the routing of the wastegate lines.
Hellion recommends two dual port solenoids along with the eboost 2 controller. That's what I have, rock solid boost control. I love it.
After only one revision from BBR I decided their tuning sucked. Waiting days for a revision after logging passes at 135+ mph on the street was not how I wanted to get my car tuned.
I guarantee my car is running well into the 10's....no times yet because of the heat. Cars do not make power in the heat, prone to have more detonation in the heat and its sucks sweating your ass off. It just doesn't make any sense to me to go to the track right now.
My car was the first FI 2015...
