I have one and it works great. I've forgotten to take it off a couple times and drove around but the magnet was strong enough to keep it on :headbonk:. Thank god because you don't wanna drive over that if it falls off.
Fans were expecting a redesign like the Mustang, so they are understandably upset. It's still a kickass car under the skin, but, it's a whole new platform isn't it? Doesn't that mean they went through a lot of trouble to make it look like the last generation? If it's all new underneath, why not...
Any fast drivers out there have some advice? Say a turn gets down to 38mph, do you leave it in 3rd? (13 GT 3.73)
Videos I see of guys at my local track show them sticking with 3rd but I wonder if I can gain a little time with 2nd. I stick in 3rd because it's easy, but I'm looking to shave time...

MGW has good detailed videos on youtube. There's a good amount of time spent under the car for the Mustang install. Worth it for me though. The stock shifter would frequently miss 3rd when downshifting from 4th in a turn, garbage. Infuriating hitting the apex and getting on the gas only to find...
I'll wait for actual lap times (video/data) instead of cheering on some words. Motortrend gave numbers, not exciting numbers, but numbers at least.
So far, the spread is a few tenths slower than previous GT's to whooping the Boss 302.
