Do you notice it only at low speeds? I see you have the BMR toe links, a number of people have reported low speed noises from them (myself included) but in my case it sounded like a rattling like something was loose rather than squeaking. Liberal application of WD40 onto the spherical bearing...
Forgive the red for appearing a little weird, the camera was trying to photograph it in the shadow against a much brighter background...
Edit: Looking through my pics it seems I always take photos on the side in the shade, which doesn't help much with the wheels. I did find this one pic of...
Nor am I, but I agree. The higher the temperature delta (between the fluid and the air passing through the radiator) the faster it'll lose heat, so pumping hot fluid through at a faster rate won't cool any specific bit of that fluid more than if it were passed through more slowly but it should...
I considered which way to orient them. The BMR instructions don't specify and I figured the clamping of the saddle essentially forces it to act like it's a single unbroken piece. There's a pic on BMR's product page where you can see theirs is installed with the split facing rearward, so I...
I haven't tracked it yet, and other than enjoying the occasional freeway onramp I really don't normally push it that hard on the street. I do have a track day coming up later this month, I'll pay attention to the other side and make sure it survives since I only replaced the one that failed. The...
In November or December I installed a set of BMR sway bars along with a bunch of other stuff. At the time of installation I greased the bushings, and since then I've driven the car maybe 3500 miles and greased them at least one more time (possibly twice.) I went to grease them again the other...
I found on the fronts that I could pull the pad partway out, then simply use my hand to grab (palm on the caliper, fingers gripping the pad for the outboard one, the opposite of that for the inboard one) and gently squeeze the pistons back by hand.
I found the same thing with an older pair of Pilotis. I ended up buying a pair of Puma Drift Cats but they're just too narrow for me, even with the Steeda pedal cover (and they're surprisingly slippery too.)
I have an older pair of Pumas that I don't even see on their website anymore, I...
and they're gone.
I'm cleaning out some stuff in my garage and I tripped over my sway bars I took off my 2015 GT PP car and I figured I should finally get rid of them. I've also got the set of springs off the car and the rear shocks. Does anyone want them? I'm in Bothell and they're free if...
XP10s front and rear on GTPP. They are loud, and modulating them at low speeds when they're warm is not always the smoothest thing. I look forward to my first track day with them next month.
Of course Bickford was pleasant, as they were when I bought my Mustang last year. I've dealt with Bickford 3 times now and each experience has been very positive. The only reason we went to Pierre at all was because Bickford didn't have any STs to test drive and we didn't want to order one...
I know this thread is a bit old, but I'll add a recent experience in case someone looking for dealerships comes across it in the future...
I was just at Pierre with my wife, looking for Fiesta STs for her. Pierre had a couple with Recaros, so we went there to test drive them and possibly order...
Definitely take a look at this thread. My toe rods made a ton of noise and it took me quite a while to trace it to them, I was going crazy checking for loose bolts and never finding anything loose but always hearing a sound at lower speeds that sounded exactly like something was really loose in...
