Hello, I have a 2015 gt tuned by Wengerd. I am interested in getting a ghost cam added to my current revision but they only do it for gen 3s and I have a gen 2 (15-17) I asked a few tuners that do ghost cams and they only do it if you buy their own tune but considering I just spent 1,000 on a...
Yeah they really are the best, he recommended the imrc lockouts but I really wanted my car running the same day I had the issue so I did the zip tie method and he adjusted my tune accordingly. Now the car feels great and I won’t have to worry about it.
Did you tune yours yourself? My tuner didn’t ask me for any data I just told him I have the 2020 gt500 injectors and sent some data logs. Went through Wengerd performance. They are really great.
*UPDATE*
2020+ OEM GT500 injectors will directly bolt up to 15-17 Mustang gt 5.0s. They are ev14 long body injectors which are different then the ev14 injectors found in the 13-14 which are ev14 short body.
Hello, as far as I’m aware the 13-14 gt500 injectors require spacers to run on a 5.0. There is not a lot of information on the 2020+ injectors on 15-17 5.0s however. Are these just plug in play? I can’t find any information anywhere.
I hope not, I know I can do it but don’t have the space, would have to take it to the dealer if that’s the case. Hoping it’s something easy like the evap solenoid or evap canister. I will know if the solenoid fixes the issue this weekend though.
Note that I am giving it a slight amount of gas in this video to show how it bogs down like it’s going to die. Usually it’ll do that on its own without any revs.
