My entire car is PPFed and at the recommendation of the company that installed the PPF I use Meguiar's M2716 Pro Hybrid Ceramic Sealant. Works great and is quite easy to use.
I picked up a 2019 GT350R last fall and when running the stock Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2's the tramlining was very noticeable (even annoying at times) on the street. Switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4s', kept the exact same size as the Cup2's, and the tramlining is completely gone...
Interesting that the price listed on their dealership website is $4k more than the price listed on their Facebook Marketplace listing, unless I am missing something. Nice looking car!
Might also be helpful to track down install instructions from a rear seat delete product, and then follow the steps in reverse. I know there were a few specific steps, best done in sequence, when I installed a Ford (Racing) Performance rear seat delete in my 07 GT500 and it was nice to have...
I also have a set installed in my ‘07 GT500 and they are great for Autocross. Even kept the rear seatbelt hardware installed when doing a rear seat delete so that I could continue to use them. Took a bit of work to have the install come out clean but happy with the result.
I agree on a low mileage car. An internet search should turn up quite a few though you may need to spend a few weeks or more as inventory does change. You will pay a premium for a very clean low mileage one, though this time of year you may be able to get one a bit less expensive than during...
I have a 2007 GT500 which I bought new. Now has 25k miles with many upgrades to both increase HP and handling. While I have previously had the GT500 to the drag strip a few times which was great fun, I got roped into doing autocross with it a few years back, so I continued to work on improving...
Yes thank you. When looking closer one of the images/diagrams on FordParts.com had each side's part numbers mislabeled/reversed. I have ordered one of the -9B007-B parts and am waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully it won't redirect the airflow under the car to the point where it reduces...
I have a set of those I use in my '07 GT500 when running autocross. They are a great setup and easy to still use OEM belts when driving on the street. GLWS
In Sept 2023 I acquired 2019 GT350R in Performance Blue - KR345. The car is low milage and very very clean.
While under the car recently I noticed that it appeared to be missing the Right Hand (i.e. passenger side) fuel tank shield. Oddly there are nuts on the bolts that would be use to hold...
For street tires I have run both Continental Extreme Contact Sport's and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and in my opinion while the Conti's are good, the PS4S are great. They usually cost a little more but in my opinion are well worth the difference.
