Some misinformation here... Who was at fault? If you were, You need to read the fine print on your policy and see if it covers OEM parts. Some lenders/lease holders demand that OEM parts be used to repair the car.
LA is for Los Angeles right?, If so you can talk to any shop of your choosing...
Clutch is a wear item, But if you've ever had a clutch go out the symptoms are different than what he's experiencing.
The clutch pedal still goes in and out just fine, but it just won't go in to gear when the car is on.
Transmissions going out and concentric slave cylinders (clutch...
It's built in to the entire housing... There is a guy on a facebook group who is starting to make his own for $25 a pair but will take a month before he starts selling them.
They are LED
Part number from Ford is 13550

You're talking about the gills in the headlights right? Those are already LED so it's not as simple as changing some bulbs.
As NasaStang posted, DiodeDynamics has a kit that replaces the LED's but you have to take apart the headlights to get to them and do some soldering work.
I'm not subaruwrxfan, That's Bullitt right below you.
It should of been totaled, I'm sure if you pressed for the write off they wouldn't have put much fight into it. They penny pinched you...
But I feel your pain on the Guard front, I think it is personally the best color that was available...
It must have gotten close because that's a lot of work.

That's $14K in damage (and its guard too :frusty: ), Most states have the 70% rule where if the damages are 70% or more of the car's value it's a total loss.
There's a bunch of Ford dealerships out here that will probably treat you better... There's Modesto, Pittsburgh, Tracy, Livermore etc...
Good luck though, If it is the transmission then it's not your fault... I'm fairly certain it's not the clutch but it's better to be safe than sorry if...
I don't have an S550 yet so it was for my 370z... But I had it fixed at a friends shop in Dublin (now I think he opened his own in Livermore), It was $495 in labor but my aftermarket warranty covered most of it.
A CSC is not a typical wear item like a clutch is considered, so if it is infact...
That's the slave cylinder... I had mine go out twice on my current car. Normally you can see the fluid leaking under the transmission (in my case, the 2nd time I didn't see any, but did the 1st).
The pedal falls straight to the floor and doesn't have any kick back so it just falls because it...
The cupholder area is 1 solid piece, I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard for any skilled shop to spray adhesive on it and wrapping it in leather or vinyl and cutting it to fit. I'd imagine the only hard part would be making the chrome trim pieces around the shifter and cup holders to fit...
Are you talking about the center console? I was curious about finding an upholstery shop to wrap it in leather or vinyl (not the sticker vinyl, but the fake leather vinyl) to make the interior less cheap looking/feeling. But I haven't bought a S550 yet.
Wouldn't hurt to take it by an...
Diode Dynamics is really good at warrantying their products, I'm sure if you wanted to save some money you could of just sent them an email with pictures and they would send you a new bulb(s) free.
I don't think anyone really did testing on the seat cooling function.

at 8:05 he says that only the seat bottom cushion cools, That's at a press event... I don't know if the developers said that or they found out for themselves though. But I'm thinking the latter since if by design...
Ford and the Pinto gas tanks and the tires on the Explorers still hang in the memory of some people... But Toyota did similar with the unintended acceleration, GM with their ignition's shutting off and Jeep is following the Pinto with explosive rear tanks in older late 90s Grand Cherokee's.
