To those of you with a Lund tune that went with LT headers, did they charge you a fee to revise the tune you previously had to add the LT compatability?

I was recently told that the larger diameter headers produce the most power at the higher RPMs as opposed to the smaller diameter headers (1-3/4) which produce the most power at lower RPMs. Opinions?
As a side note: I do understand the reason for having a larger diameter header set up for FI...
I am starting to research headers and was wondering what size would go well with the Corsa Xtreme 3" cat back. I am leaning more towards Kooks 1 7/8 headers. Any input from those of you who already pulled the trigger? Any fitment issues, anything to look out for, ect? :)
