It wasn't a question as to please explain it to me it was a question as to where people get all this BS info and dont know shit such as yourself. You know nothing about me or what I do so save it brother and take your car back to the shop so they can sell you more crap you dont need.
Yes as soon as the manifold see's positive pressure it does close your right. I've always just liked to have a direct manifold reference. It's a free port and we'll see in the logs if it makes any difference. Might be in vain who knows
What the hell are you talking about? We are talking about wastegates building boost faster not pulleys that will spin the charger quicker. Of course a smaller pulley will make more boost and spin it quicker and add flow thats simple physics. Is you name the guy that comments on sh!t before...
Exactly, that's what I was trying to get at. It will control boost up top but not build boost quicker as some suggest. We too are going to step down on pulleys but not enough to warrant a waste gate. One thing we are going to do is use a duel piston BOV and pull the vacuum source right from a...
How is a wastegate going to help build boost faster on a belt driven supercharger? On a turbo it is closed while building boost and is opened to bleed off exhaust gases to control boost pressure so you don't over boost. With a supercharger you are limited on boost by the pulley.
Here's a moroso installed with a procharger. We removed the the CMCV's and put the MMR lockouts in. The passenger hose was ran around the rear and t'd to the drivers side then to the OCC and the inlet
Motor is coming along nicely. It has about 400 miles on it now. We did the first wot pull and everything held together fine. It needs some tuning but all in all we are happy. Torrie @ Unleashed is the tuner BTW. We have worked with him on a few different platforms and he's never let us down...
Your logs are way too long. Hit start, punch it, let off and hit stop. is that all the parameters your logging? There is a lot of vital info not being obtained. Here's your log in Livelink. (it can be used for other tuners as long as the file is csv)and yes its pulling timing.
Here's all the...
I called a few weeks back and they said it was for sure an issue with the HO kit and they would get back to me. they also mentioned a part revision. I'll give them another shout tomorrow.
Agreed. Can you PM me? I talked to you guys a couple weeks ago about a belt rubbing issue. I was told there was a revised part and nobody got back a hold of me.
Well that explains that lol. Very nice #'s. I didn't want to assume anything but that piston in the pic does look like it knocked itself to death. Stormtroopergt's car is custom tuned also and we will be using the same tuner. His failure I dont believe was tune related but it could have been...
No they for sure have oil squirters. This block has a casting date of 12/02/15. I think thats a myth and only a few blocks didn't have them. We deleted because they did not clear the new piston skirts. We did consider sleeves but MMR said they should be good to roughly a 1000 hp since we didn't...
