I am guessing it is Hurst as that is what is on the shift lever. The best I know since, it was in the care when I bought it.

Since you have the same Hurst shifter, do you find that the shifter is loose and floppy when in gear and esp. in neutral? I have no problem shifting and have gotten use to the firmness and gates.

Before direct injection, the fuel was sprayed on the back of the intake valve, so that kept the valve clean. Of course, direction injection does not do that, so....
