I subconsciously put it to track every time I get in the car. Since I don't get any traffic, gonna blame that as the cause for 18.5L/100km consumption...
Or what G RUSH said!
Try going the ATAK then! My neighbours have commented on the cold start numerous times hehe.
ATAK is the same. Can keep it very civil with the right foot but that requires a great deal of self control.
Tunnels are awesome to redline....if the windows are up haha. God damn is it loud with...
Found the image galleries on your site, amazing shots!
smdandb2 Did you have to drill out the stud/lug holes or were they custom order? The S550 seems to have thicker studs/lugs.
I tried to fit a set of 5x114 Rays G12's today. They're from an R35GTR which is M12x1.25 which I'm pretty sure...
Bloody nice choice, have the standard versions in black on my 86 (or FR-S/BRZ to you guys).
Is there any rubbing, full lock steering or under heavy suspension compression in the rear with that setup?
EDIT: Oh and smdandb2 do you have any close up pics showing the slight poke on the rear?
Too true! The videos of the Borla ATAK don't show anywhere near how loud it actually is. People have told me it's quite anti social the moment you're applying any more than 15% throttle and over 2000rpm hehe.
I did a video of mine on cold start in the garage, in person, its double that!

Had a look to see what you blokes were on about while fitting my exhaust tonight, that has to be the worst filter placement ever. Car is a def candidate for a remote oil filter mount if you plan on doing it yourself regularly.
Take delivery and run it in before the apprentices at the panel shop do?
Mines gotta go back for a number of fixes, photos in the defect thread but none of which have bothered me enough to not enjoy it the last 1000km's.
Yeah have given up trying. I'm used to doing it in my other car all the time, even cruising in traffic but the GT seems to only be do-able when at max braking and even then its pretty suspect.
Tried playing with foot position but the footwell trim piece to the right of the pedal doesn't help...
The 20L drum is actually on special at SCA until tomorrow...

Why am I not surprised at all this!
Don't like the idea of the 5w-20 either, seems like its more for fuel economy like the 86 which specified a 0w-20 and felt like water! I switched to Nulon 5W-30 Long Life as I was running E85 and then boost. But really unless you're going to do oil...
That XYZ kit looks like cheap re branded Taiwanese/Korean shit. They'll fine if you just want to go low, but I bet they don't do much of an improvement on the handling side.
That said, the Shockworks and MCA componentry are also made in the same places but to their specs. Though you'll get...
