  1. About to join the Shelby herd but have some ?

My 2 cents, unless your getting a good deal on a pre owned, I would spend a little extra and get one brand new. You have no idea how a pre owned car was driven or broken in and if you keep your cars for a long time that’s even more important. I plan on getting an extended warranty so I have no...
  2. About to join the Shelby herd but have some ?

Wow, and I thought the 1000 mile mark was where you were out of the danger zone based on the data. This is why I wanna run the first 1000 miles up fast so if it happens it’s as early as possible.
  3. ALL GT350/GT350R LEADS, ALLOCATIONS, DEPOSITS [READ FIRST POST]

It will probably be a few months. Once ford schedules it to be built it should come up. Are you sure the dealer actually submitted the order in the computer? Some dealers have been known to say they submitted it and take a down payment and then months later they change their story.
  4. Limited-Edition Shelby GT350, GT350R Heritage Edition Package

I don’t expect concourse level paint or fitment but this is the 21st century and this is basic stuff. My $17k corolla had no issues. I would expect this if I had the car painted at maaco not from a factory with modern equipment. They feel its acceptable to ask $10,000 for painted stripes on the...
  5. Which dealership has Allocation for ordering a 2020 gt350R?

Youre way to late to the game. Check the spreadsheet and view local inventory to find something already built. Getting sticker price is hard enough but invoice?
  6. Rear Differential service

It’s all gear driven. I guess that’s why there’s such a high mileage interval because there’s no clutch material from a traditional LSD contaminating the fluid.
  7. Rear Differential service

If you want to do it after a few years or after say 20,000 miles or 50,000 miles and you’ve been doing some moderately hard drive and maybe some light track days that’s understandable. But I see people that drive their car 1000 miles a year as a grocery getter and feel they absolutely have to...
  8. Rear Differential service

Agree with Byron about street vs track service intervals. Everyone wants to reinvent the wheel with maintenance and fluid weights. I think Ford put a lot of time and thought into the development of this car and if it required special service I’m sure they would have simply stated that.
  9. Rear Differential service

No, The differential service interval should be in your supplement owners guide
  10. ALL GT350/GT350R LEADS, ALLOCATIONS, DEPOSITS [READ FIRST POST]

I tried to find an allocation in April with no luck. I was lucky enough to find one already built to my spec at msrp. Finding an allocation now is going to be very hard and your best bet is to check the spreadsheet and use the view local inventory on the ford site. Start punching in zip codes...
  11. Shipping a car during the Pandemic....

I did, no issues. Came faster than normal as there are no shows auctions going on.
  12. 2020 MY Engine Coolant Type

Yeah it’s really annoying all these different coolant types I wish the automotive industry would just stick to one. My raptor and Shelby are both 2020 models they were built about a week apart. raptor is yellow and the Shelby is red.
  13. 20,000 miles and no PPF??

I think it really depends on where you live and where you’re going to drive. All of my sports cars were driven on local roads for the most part and they are in pretty good condition overall. They have all fared well with virtually no chips on them since the roads are well-maintained and I only...
  14. Finally in the garage

keep the stripes. magnetic with kona blue looks great in person.
  15. 2020 GT350 introduction - after a month of ownership
