Thanks for the advice.
Not sure what Ill do when the first set wears out. Not planning on a second set of wheels. My thinking was to just run All Seasons after that. I'll drive it into December before putting it away for the winter and I know the summer tires don't like it below 45 degrees.
I'll be getting the PP1 and after the first set of tires wears out, about a month after I drive off the lot, Ill probably throw all seasons on it. If I do 255s all around, can I put the rear wheels on the front without a problem, or will I need spacers for the front?
And how will the car handle...
You won't save 4k if you go with the Black Accent package instead of the Per. Pack. It costs $995 so you'll be saving 3k.
I had the same dilemma, and I decided to go with the PP because I wanted the bigger wheels, and I figured I'd eventually want the 3.73 rear end so I might as well have it...
How can they be so wrong about the price of a base GT? They say $39k when all they have to do is go to the Ford site and see it's $35095. And it will obviously be less than that.
Yeah exact same car, except direct injection, higher compression, new clutch, upgraded manual tranny, magneride, 10 speed transmission, which will make it feel like NOT the same car...
Jesus, what some of you people consider close calls...is just driving. It's like you expect everyone to stay the hell away from you. Get real, it's driving...
I took mine out for exercise, too. And it was so sweet to be out of the winter car and back in the Stang, if for only a few miles. Nice to have a garage.
Same for me in NY state. Said he pulled me over for no front plate. Asked me if I'd had anything to drink, I lied and he said get home safely. No ticket.
