so i changed the oil this weekend to AMSOIL signature series 5w-30 in my car. Before there was a constant tick. After the oil change i took it out for a drive, did some spirited driving as well. I get back home, tick has quieted down. ALOT. Almost to where it wasnt even there. Time will tell if...

Quick question guys, has anyone added any of the Lucas Oil Zinc additive? Any results in a more quiet motor? My next oil change i will be using Amsoil 5w-30 and i was wondering if i should put in some zinc additive.

I agree. But sometimes there is better options out there! Not bashing motor craft oil. But I'm gonna try out he amsoil 5w30 signature series.

I do have a little bit more tick than that but I think it's just a noisy lifter. I'm going to 5w30 next weekend. I'm gonna see if that makes a difference

Did you ever have any loss in power or anything like that? I have a tick. It's kinda similar. But it's constant. It doesn't skip like yours did

I have the tick as well. I've had it since I've had about 1500 miles on my car. Took it to the dealer they said it was normal. I went ahead and put long tubes on it with a tune. Tick has gotten a little louder since the long tubes but not super loud. I can only hear it when I'm next to something...

Thinking about getting this setup. Think 305s would for in the back with that offset?
