Haha I love you guys on here. Just to clarify I'm not so much singing the praises of the Eco as much as I'm expressing my disappointment after driving the GT. I think it was just the heft and weight of the vehicle. Eco wasn't a huge improvement, although the front end loses about 200 lbs.
I've always had the mindset that a V8 belongs in a car like a Mustang or Camaro. I LOVE the sound and rumble of a V8. With that said I drove a GT and an Ecoboost. I thought the Ecoboost was much more fun to drive, hands down. The GT just felt big, heavy, and clumsy to me.
I know everyone...
Just listened to some sound clips for the Roush axelback and it sounds great. It being $500 instead of paying $1500 for a catback is a nice added bonus too.
I'm sure it varies by area, however here in the Chicago area the prices on used 2015 Mustangs are really high. Like only a few thousand below msrp new. When can we expect used prices to come down? Or are they going to get any lower at all?
Leasing is no different from purchasing. Negotiate the price of the car down just like you were buying it. Then compare the price lease vs purchase. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the money factor and residual value is set by the bank.
I thought the auto transmission didn't have the performance package as an option? I went to a few local dealers to get prices on an EB premium and was told 29k to 30k. So 32k OTD sounds about right.
