The DWS06Plus are superb. I put 55k on them and just got a new set. I did the mobile installation (which I did not know existed LOL) and that was freaking awesome. No dragging my butt to the tire store... right there in my driveway.

So... I changed my oil last weekend (went from 5w30 Motorcraft to 5w20 due to none in stock). Prob going to jinx myself but idle has been smooth since. This is in ATL traffic so it definitely gets put to the test. Still going to have to deal with it at some point, but sanity for now.

If you really want to see the old fluid transition to new when bleeding then you can get a different colored fluid (i.e. blue Ate). Just make sure it meets the OEM specs.

If you wear polarized sunglasses (or similar) does it cause a weird color-haze effect on the windshield? Maybe it is with certain tints... obviously not a big deal since so many people do it.

Looking at prices nowadays I'm lucky I got my GT at the onset of covid. Hopefully the market is a little tamer come my next go-around, but I'm not counting on it. Dealers are not stocking up anymore and are gambling on that model going forward.

I agree and think this has a lot to do with some (not all) of the jerkiness complaints. For example, when in Sports+ mode (which I am in most of the time), I have learned that you have to work the throttle position correctly to get the right/desired behavior from the transmission.

Finally got it to the dealership. They did a pressure test and proved out the weeping. All covered under warranty thank goodness. Happy to have it back.

Had to get the water pump replaced. 2019 w/51k miles. Luckily I caught it when it was weeping. Tech had to do a pressure test to prove it out. Back on the road again! 🙃

Build date is 1/19 so I'll check into that cutoff. Based on what I initially saw, I thought the leak was more steady. But it appears to be slow at this point, and certainly looks like it is seeping from the bottom of the water pump. I put some coolant dye in it yesterday but only put about 10...

Thanks for the reply. My coolant was red/orange from the factory. I haven't changed it.

Washed my GT today and noticed the coolant football was pretty low. Looked under the car and see a leak coming through the oil filter cover. I'm going to try and attach pics if they turn out well enough. I looked all over the place and I am pretty sure the leak is coming from somewhere around...
